The Asian College of Journalism (ACJ) official authority has released the dates of the significant events related to the ACJ Entrance Test 2018. The information regarding the same is provided in the below table. The aspirants have to appear and qualify in ACJ Entrance Exam 2018 and interview to get enrolled in the Asian College of Journalism.

Asian College of Journalism (ACJ) Admit Card/ Download Hall Ticket 2018
The ACJ Admit Card 2018 has been released now. Candidates who successfully applied for ACJ Entrance Exam 2018, they can access their Hall Ticket in online mode by visiting the official website. The registered candidates can access the hall ticket by entering the date of birth and application number. Admit card contains the exam centre details, important guidelines and other details. The applicants must carry the printout of admit card on the day of examination.
- This is an on-line exam. There are two papers – a) English Language and b) General Knowledge. More details will be given in the admit card for the Entrance examination.
- The reporting time at the examination centre is 9 a.m. The examination will commence at 9.30 a.m. and end by 1.00 p.m.with a half hour break in between the two papers.
- Please note, you will receive an SMS with your roll number on Tuesday May 8, 2018 OR on Wednesday May 9, 2018.
- The admit card has to be downloaded by entering your roll number sent by SMS and your date of birth as indicated in the application form.
- You have to take a print-out of the admit card and bring it with you to the examination centre along with your photo identity proof. (Aadhar card or Driving licence).This is a mandatory requirement.
- The admit card will have details about the entrance examination and the address of the examination centre.
ACJ Entrance Exam 2018 Eligibility Criteria
The official examination conducting authority has released a set of eligibility criteria for the aspirants who are willing to get admission into Asian College of Journalism Entrance Exam 2018. Before registering and filling up the online application form of ACJ Entrance Exam 2018, candidates must ensure that they fit into all the eligibility criteria set by the exam conducting authority. The eligibility criteria to apply for ACJ 2018 is provided in the table below. Asian College of Journalism ACJ Entrance Exam Application Form
The students who are willing to appear for ACJ Entrance Exam 2018, they can apply in both online and offline mode according to their suitability. The last date to apply for the Entrance Exam 2018 is 27th April 2018 (extended). However, the information regarding both the process is provided below:
Things to be kept ready in hand before going to fill up the application form:
- Scanned copy of family income proof if you intend to apply for the scholarship (e.g. pay slip, last filed income tax return of earning family members).
- Applicant’s recent passport size colour digital photo in JPEG/PNG format. The face should be clear and facing up front.
- Education details of school and college which includes the year of study, subjects and percentage of marks/grades obtained.
- Scanned copy of community certificate if you intend to apply for SC/ST scholarship and avail exemption from the application fee.
For online Application process: Candidates can fill the application form online and also pay the fee online via debit card/ credit card or net banking or before the last date. Step by step guide to fill up the application form is provided below:

Step 2: Fill in the details in the ACJ 2018 application form that are given below.

Step 3: Candidates also have to upload a scanned (digital) image of their recent colour passport size photograph in JPEG/ PNG format (less than 500 KB).
Step 4: Once all the correct details are entered, candidates can go for the application fee payment. Payment can be either online through Credit Card/ Debit card/ Net Banking or in the form of Demand Draft in favour of “Media Development Foundation”, payable at Chennai with the candidate’s full name, reference number, email address and mobile number behind the DD.
Candidates who pay via DD must send the DD to the address mentioned below.
For offline Application process: Application forms can be download from the official website of ACJ. Fill it up carefully. Make a Demand Draft (DD) of Rs 1200/- in favour of “Media Development Foundation”, payable at Chennai from any designated bank. Write your reference number, full name, email id and mobile number written on the back of the DD and send it to the following address. The candidates must send the application form along with the DD before 3 days from the deadline of the application form.

ACJ Entrance Exam Syllabus
The Asian College of Journalism ACJ Entrance Examination will be conducted in online (computer-based test) mode. The question paper will be divided into two parts: (a) to test the applicant’s English language skills and facility and (b) the awareness of current affairs and general knowledge. It will also test the candidates’ writing ability and assess their analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Other procedures may be prescribed for candidates from abroad.
ACJ Examination Center 2018
The ACJ Entrance Exam 2018 for postgraduate courses is going to conduct in many cities across India. The official examination conducting authority has released the examination center for the test. The examination will be offered in Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cochin, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, New Delhi, Ranchi, Patna, Pune, Thiruvananthapuram, and possibly other cities, depending on the number of applications received from a particular region.
ACJ Result 2018
The ACJ Entrance Exam 2018 result is scheduled to announce on 14th May 2018 at the official website. The candidates who appeared in the test can access the result by entering the application number and date of birth. Based on the marks obtained by the applicants in the test, the official authority determines the cut-offs and prepares a merit list. The result or scorecard contains the marks obtained in the entrance test.
ACJ Entrance Exam 2018 Cut-off
As per to the official notification, the official authority will determine a cut-off for ACJ Entrance Exam 2018 after the test gets over. It will set a definite cut-off mark for the test. The candidates who score equal to more than the cut-off mark, only they will be called for the interview.
Selection Process
The official authority will announce the names of shortlisted candidates for the interview on 22nd May 2018 at the ACJ official website. The interview of the candidates qualifying the test shall be conducted between 30th May 2018 to 3rd June 2018.
Counselling and seat allotment process
The official admission authority has released the names of the shortlisted candidates of ACJ Entrance Exam 2018. The counselling schedule along with the names has been also released. The candidates will be allotted seats based on the Entrance test score and performance in the interview. Candidates can check their seat allotment by logging in to the official website. The shortlisted candidate must report to the institute in person along the list of documents for verification.
