Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology(KIIT) conducts an entrance examination for admission to various undergraduate, postgraduate and research programme. To get enrolled for any of the course mentioned below at the Institution itself, an aspirant has to fill up the application form and have to qualify the entrance examination. The application form of KIITEE 2018 was released on 20th November 2017.

In order to take the KIIT Entrance Examination for the academic session 2018, the applicant has to fill up the application form. Indian, NRI and foreign nationals are eligible to apply for KIITEE 2018. But before filling up, a candidate must know the eligibility criteria for that course he/she is going to opt for. The candidates can apply for KIITEE 2018 online mode according to their suitability until 31st March 2018. The procedure for both the mode is described below

NOTE: There is no application/examination fee for KIITEE 2018. All the candidates are exempted from paying the application fee.

Applying For KIITEE 2018 Via Online Mode

To apply for KIIT Entrance Examination 2018 via online mode, the applicant has to visit the official website of KIIT. Here is a step by step guide on how to apply for the KIIT entrance examination 2018. You can access the Online Application form for KIITEE 2018 by clicking here..

Documents that must be kept ready before going to sit for filling up the application form:

  1. Class 10 mark sheet/Board certificate.
  2. Scanned copy of Class 10 mark sheet/Board certificate,  passport size photograph, signature.
  3. All the educational qualification certificates
  4. Valid E-Mail ID and mobile number.

Selection of Course

Go to the official website of KIIT. Applicants need to choose one of the two options mentioned below as per their citizenship :-

Option Number 1:- “KIITEE 2018 Apply Online” is for Indian Citizens only.

Option Number 2:- “KIITEE 2018 International Applicants Apply Online” is for those who are applying for seats reserved for foreign and NRI citizens.

On clicking, a new page containing all the courses offered via KIITEE display on the screen.

Select one or multiple courses from the list given below according to preferred choice and click on submit option.

Fill In The Information

The application form is divided into multiple sections where candidates have to fill the general information, centre for examination, academic qualification, communication address.

In the general information section, candidate have to fill the following information

  • Name of the candidate as mentioned in class X or equivalent certificate
  • Name of the father as mentioned in class X or equivalent certificate
  • Name of the mother
  • Date of birth as mentioned in class X or equivalent certificate. The format has to be (DD/MM/YYYY)
  • Gender of the candidate
  • Nationality
  • Valid Mobile number and email address

NOTE: The mode of communication between the candidate and authority will take place through the mobile number and e-mail id entered by the candidate.

Choice of Exam Centre

Applicants have to choose one of the examination centers as per their preference from the list given below. List of exam center contains the name of the city/state and centre along with the centre code. Exam centre and venue filled in application form will be mentioned on the admit card.

Fill Up The Qualification Details

After choosing the examination center, fill up the following qualification details

  • % of Marks & Passing Year of Qualifying Examination: Enter % of marks in PCM/PCB & the year of passing.
  • Class X Roll No: Enter class X Roll No (As mentioned in the certificate)
  • Class X board name: Enter class X Board name.
    eg:- CBSE/ICSE/Board of Secondary Education Odisha.
  • Class X passed year: Select class X passed year.

Enter Postal and Communication Address

Enter the present address i.e address of the place currently residing

NOTE: Check all the details provided carefully and submit the KIITEE application form 2018. Once submitted, edit option will appear in case if candidates need to edit any information. After final submission, candidates will be able to see their application number, full name, gender and date of birth. Application number has to be noted down by applicants for future reference.

After the submission of all the details, candidates need to upload the scanned images of the documents mentioned below as per specification provided in the table

Print out of Application Form

After uploading and submitting the images, the filled up application form along with the uploaded images will appear on the screen. Applicants are advised to download that page take the print out of the same for future use.

Checking of Application Status

Applicants must ensure that whether their application form submitted online is accepted or not by the official authority. So, Candidates are advised to check the application status by entering the application number in the “application status” tab.

Applying for KIITEE 2018 via offline mode

To apply for KIIT Entrance Examination 2018 via offline mode, an applicant has to visit the official website of KIIT.

Here is a step by step guide on how to apply for the KIIT entrance examination for the year 2018 via offline mode

  1. Download application form: Go to the official website of KIIT. On the home page click on “read more” option. A new page will appear on the screen. Click on the “Download Application Form” link. An application form page in the PDF format will appear on the screen. Download and take the printout of the same. To have a look at the application form, click on the following link “Download KIITEE Application Form”.
  2. Fill in the details: Fill in the details carefully by a black ballpoint pen and paste passport size photo on the form.
  3. Enclose the following documents along with the application form:The Documents/Certificates need to be attached along with the filled application form
    1. Xerox copies of Class X mark sheet/certificate.
    2. Two passport size photographs (must indicate clearly the name of the candidate) pasted in the registration form in the boxes provided.
    3. If applying for B. Arch, enclose copies of X Class mark sheet and NATA scorecard.
    4. If you are applying for PhD then enclose copies of all academic certificates and mark sheet starting from X Class onwards.
  4. Post the Application Form: After filling up the form and enclosing all the required documents, candidates need to post/courier to the following address on or before 31st March 2018 (5 P.M). “The Director, Admissions, KIIT, Koel Campus, Bhubaneswar – 751024, Odisha, India“.
  5. To know the application numberThe candidate who has applied offline can know their application number by the following procedure after 15 days of dispatch of the application form to KIIT.
    • Go to the official website.
    • Click on the “Find application number” link.
    • Enter the information asked and click on proceed.
  6. Checking of Application status

Applicants must ensure that whether their application form submitted offline is accepted or not by the official authority. Candidates who applied offline must check the status of their Application Form submission on the website after 20 days of its dispatch to KIIT. So, Candidates are advised to check the application status by entering the application number in the “application status” tab.

Application form correction of KIITEE 2018

If an applicant needs to make a correction in the details provided while filling up the application form, they can do it later on via offline mode. The candidate has to write an application to the official authority of KIIT mentioning the corrections to be done in the application form and send it along with the application form to the below-mentioned address.
