Steps To fill IISc Application Form 2025
It is mandatory to fill the IISc Application Form 2025 in order to apply for admission. The filling of an application form requires various steps to be followed by the candidate. These steps are:
Step 1: Online Registration
At first, candidates need to register by clicking on the “New Candidate Registration” link, and then they have to provide the required details. The details comprise of name, date of birth, email id, nationality, etc. After providing all the above details applicants have to submit them and they will receive a verification link on their email id.
Step 2: Log in
Upon successful registration, aspirants need to log in using their registered email id and password. Once the candidate is logged in he/she can proceed to fill an IISc B.Tech application form 2025.
Step 3: Filling Details in the Application Form
Candidates have to fill in their personal, qualification, and contact details in this step of the application process. All the required details must be relevant and correct and the application form must be completely filled. If the application form of IISc B.Tech Admission 2025 will not be completely filled or the details provided are not correct then the form will directly fall for rejection.
The details need for IISc Application Form consists of the following:
- Name of the candidate
- Gender
- Nationality

Step 4: Uploading of Scanned images
Along with the details, applicants also have to upload scanned images in the IISc application form. The scanned images include the candidate’s photograph and signature and also the signature of the parent’s or guardian. These images must be in a specified format prescribed by the IISc Authority.
Step 5: Payment of Application Fee
Once the application form is completely filled and uploaded with the images, aspirants have to pay an application fee. This fee will be non-refundable under any situation. One can make the payment only via online mode through Net Banking, Credit card, or Debit card. No acceptance of the application form without the fee.
Step 6: Submission of Application Form
Candidates have to submit the IISc 2025 B.Tech Application Form after making the payment. The form must be submitted on or before the last date of submission which is 6th August 2025. Candidates cannot modify the provided details after the final submission of an application form. So, the admission authority advises applicants to preview their forms before submitting them.
Step 7 – Taking the printouts
The candidate must take at least 2 printouts of their respective Application Forms of IIsc Admission 2025 for future admission formalities.
Application Fee of IISc Application Form 2025
Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore will not accept the IISc application form 2025 if the candidate does not pay the requisite application fee. The application fee varies according to the different categories of applicants. Also, the fees once paid will not be refunded to individuals under any circumstance. Payment can be made via online mode only.

IISc Eligibility Criteria 2025
The admission authority will release the IISc Eligibility Criteria 2025. Applicants who wish to take part in the application process to apply for admission must satisfy the eligibility criteria. Since only eligible candidates will be able to fill the IISc 2025 Application Form. The criteria differ for each admission channel :
For all Candidates
- Candidates must have qualified 10+2 from any recognized board in the year 2025.
- Aspirants must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as mandatory subjects.
- An applicant must have obtained at least 60% in 10+2.
- Candidates appearing for 10+2 board exams will be eligible to fill the IISc form 2025.
- Applicants who have studied Biology, Electronics, Statistics, Computer Science, etc. in 10+2 will also be eligible.
Candidates applying through KVPY channel
Candidate must have appeared for the following exams in the particular year:
- KVPY-SA in the year 2017
- KVPY-SB in the year 2018
- KVPY-SX in the year 2018
Candidates applying through JEE Main channel
- General category aspirants must secure 60% in JEE Main examination whereas OBC-NCL category aspirants must obtain 54% and aspirants belonging to SC/ST/PwD categories must secure a minimum aggregate of 30% in the examination.
Candidates applying through JEE Advanced channel
- General category candidates must obtain 60% in the JEE Advanced exam while OBC-NCL category candidates must have a score of 54% and SC/ST/PwD candidates must obtain at least 30% in the JEE Advanced examination.
