Punjab Technical University (PTU) offers admission to undergraduate B Tech programme based on the JEE Main exam score. It does not conduct any entrance exam for the admission. The merit list is prepared by the authority based on the candidate’s score obtained in JEE Main exam. Candidates who names appear in the merit list is eligible for the counselling and admission procedure.

PTU B Tech admission 2018 merit list has been released online at the official website. Candidates must fill up the counselling application form 2018 in order to participate in the PTU B Tech admission 2018. The PTU B Tech Merit list will contain the name of the candidates, roll number, JEE Main rank and category. Merit list will be released online separately for the 1st and 2nd round respectively.

Candidates can follow the below-given steps to check and download the merit list of PTU B Tech admission 2018
- Go to the official website www.ptu.ac.in .
- Go the “Merit list of PTU B Tech Admission 2018” link.
- Check the merit list properly and find out whether your name appears in the list or not.
- Download and take the print out of the same for future use.
Names of the registered candidates appear in the merit list are eligible to sit for the counselling round. Based on the JEE Main 2018 exam score and preferred stream, candidates will be allotted seats in the counselling round to PTU itself & institute affiliated with it.
