PTU Cut-off 2018 Have been released! Check the various categories below.

Candidates must fill up the counselling application form 2018 to become eligible for the counselling and admission process. The counselling authority determines the minimum cut-off marks for the candidates to sit for the counselling. Cut-off has been released separately for the candidates belonging to the state Punjab and outside Punjab online at the official website www.ptu.ac.in

Cut-off depends on the following various factors and based on that seats are allotted to candidates.

  • The total number of applications received by the Board for PTU B Tech 2018 admission.
  • Overall rank obtained by candidates in JEE Main 2018 or in class XII.
  • The total number of seats available for each course in the participating institutes.
  • Cut-off prepared by the participating institutes in the previous year.
  • The total umber of seats reserved for different category.

Important Points of PTU B Tech 2018 Cut-off

  • The Participating Institutes of PTU B Tech will release the cut-off for each individual branch.
  • The cut-off will be the closing rank which will be released individually by each institute.
  • The university has released JEE Main 2018 and 10+2 based cut-off separately for candidates belonging to Punjab and outside the state of Punjab.
  • A separate list of cut-off based on class XII marks has also been published after the 2nd round of counselling for candidates belonging to Punjab and outside the state of Punjab.
  • On the basis of the cut-off, candidates will be able to determine their chances of getting admission to various courses and institutes affiliated to PTU.
  • Candidates who will fulfill the cut-off requirements will be shortlisted for counselling and they will be able to get admission to the participating institute affiliated with PTU.
