OJEE Eligibility Criteria 2024

Check the eligibility criteria before filling the application form. Not all candidates can participate in the process of OJEE 2024. Check the course-wise eligibility criteria below.

  • Only Indian citizens can apply
  • Other State candidates can apply based on the OJEE rank. For such candidates, OJEE Committee will release a separate merit list
B.Tech (L.E.)/ B.Plan
  • Candidates must have passed Class 12th exam / Diploma (3 years) from a known University or Board
  • Candidates must have secured 45% marks (40% marks for reserved category)
  • Qualifying subjects are Physics, Maths, Biology/ Chemistry/ CS/ Biotech/ Geology/ Vocational/ Statistics
OJEE Eligibility for MBA
  • Candidates must have qualified a Bachelors degree from a known University OR currently appearing in Bachelors degree
  • Qualifying degree must be in Engineering/ Pharmacy/ Architecture/ Technology from a known University
  • Candidates must have secured 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ ST)
M.Tech/ M.Pharm/ M.Arch
  • Candidates must have passed a Bachelors’s degree (B.Plan, B.Tech, B.Arch) or an equivalent degree
  • Qualifying marks must be 50% (45% marks for SC/ ST)
  • There is no age limit
  • Candidates must have passed Class 12th exam. The candidates who have passed 10+2 level from an open board are not eligible
  • Qualifying subjects are Chemistry, Physics, and Bio/ Maths
  • There is no age limit

Steps to Fill OJEE Application Form

  • Online Registration: Firstly, the candidates need to register online at the OJEE official website. One has to enter the necessary credentials to create a login
  • Fill Online Application Form: After successful registration, start filling the application form with the required details
  • Upload Photograph & Signature: Upload the scanned images of the photograph & signature in the prescribed format
  • Pay OJEE Exam Fee: The application process will be complete only after the fee payment. Hence, all the candidates must pay the OJEE fees to go ahead with their application process

OJEE Application Fee

The application fee of OJEE differs as per the courses. So check the fee before making the payment as per the courses applied for.  Candidates can pay the fees via offline or online mode. OJEE Exam Pattern 2024

It is beneficial to understand the exam pattern of OJEE beforehand. This will make it easier for the candidates to solve the exam paper. Take a look at the OJEE 2024 Exam Pattern below.

  • Mode of Exam: The entrance exam will take place in both online & offline (Pen-paper based) mode
  • Language of Paper: The question paper will be in the English language

OJEE will publish the official syllabus PDF @ ojee.nic.in. Candidates will be able to download the official syllabus. Candidates must remember that the OJEE B.Tech Syllabus for every course will differ from each other.

For B.Tech (Lateral Entry), the topics will be from Engineering Mechanics, Engineering Mathematics, and Basic Electrical Engineering, etc.

OJEE 2024 Exam Preparation Tips

In order to score good marks in OJEE, candidates must begin the preparation in advance.

  • Firstly, the candidate needs to understand the entire OJEE Syllabus and exam pattern. It is mandatory to know the topics to understand the strengths and weaknesses.
  • Secondly, candidates must draw a study structure. It means to divide the syllabus into different days. Make sure you provide enough time to analyze the topics and understand them briefly. However, design a study plan in such a way that you have some room for revision.
  • Solve the OJEE previous year question papers. Solving the question papers helps the students to understand the exam pattern. Moreover, it also brushes up the entire syllabus in one go.

OJEE Answer Key 2024

Odisha Joint Entrance Examination Committee is responsible for the release of the answer key. The answer key provides answers to the questions that is asked in the OJEE Question paper. This helps the candidates to analyze their scores before the announcement of the result. Further, OJEE Committee provides a chance to the candidates to challenge the provisional answer key. OJEE Cutoff 2024

After the publishing of the answer key, OJEE Committee will publish the cutoff list. Cut-off means the minimum marks required for admission. Every course and category will have a separate cutoff list. Candidates must score above the cutoff marks in order to get admission. OJEE 2024 Cut-off list will be available on the official website. The preparation of the cutoff list is on the basis of several factors.

OJEE Counselling 2024
