NATA 2018 Selection Process

The results are declared online on the official website of NATA. The Council of Architecture follows a certain pattern for the reviewing of the results and selection the candidates. After a week of taking the examination, a response sheet will be available for each candidate for Part A. The marks secured will be uploaded subject-wise. There are no review for the drawing test (Part B). There will be no provision for the published scrutiny or review of any request after the publication of the result. The candidate can access the website using the login credentials created at the time of the application. The merit is prepared on the basis of the score secured by the candidates and the percentile score is based on the merit list.

The NATA 2018 comprises of different components. Let’s talk about these components in details:

  • NATA 2018 Score

To calculate the scores obtained by the candidates in the examination, the marking scheme format is used. The drawing section of the exam is subjective in nature and the marks obtained in this section will be provided after analyzing various factors.

The score is allocated to all the candidates. The candidates will be termed as qualified if the marks obtained is more than the cut-off. The cut-off score of NATA 2018 will be announced after the result of the declaration. The dates for the declaration of the results is on 1st June 2018.

  • NATA 2018 Percentile Score

The authority will normalize the score in order to make sure that the candidates who are qualified will obtain the correct merit position for admission.

  • NATA 2018 Merit

The candidates who will secure marks more than the cut-off of the NATA will be considered for the Merit Allocation. The higher the score of the candidates, the better will be the merit allocated to the candidates.

For Re-evaluation of NATA 2018 Result

There is no provision for re-checking of the NATA 2018 result. Last year, the candidates were able to request an option for re-checking the response sheet with a minimal online payment. The conducting body (COA) will upload the response sheet before the declaration of the result. The response sheet is only available for the PART-A Section of the Examination.
