MDU Admissions 2019: Maharshi Dayanand University in Rohtak is a Public State University offering various courses to the interested candidates. Established in 1977, the University offers Under Graduate, Post Graduate, Diploma, Certificate and Research courses for the interested candidates to pursue. MDU Admissions Application Form 2019

The Application forms of the courses offered by the University will be made available on the official website of the University. Candidates will be required to fill up the Application Form and submit it before the due date as prescribed by the examination conducting body of the University. The submission of an Application Form is an important procedure for the candidates to follow in order to proceed with the admission procedure further. It must be noted by the candidate that the availability of the Application Forms for various courses will depend on the dates as per schedule in the notification. Also, the candidate must be very careful while applying for the admission as the Application forms for various courses will be different. They must look through the details.

MDU Admissions Application form 2019 will be available on the website. Candidate must download it as well as the Information Brochure released by the University. MDU Admit Card 2019

The Admit card of the Common Entrance Exam and the University is released on the official website. Candidates who have successfully submitted the Application Form and have applied to the course are eligible to download the Admit card. It must be noted that the candidates who will be appearing for the exam will be required the Admit card on the day of the exam as it provides validity to the candidate in order to appear for the exam. Their entry to the examination hall is prohibited otherwise. Candidates will be required to provide essential details or credentials to download the Admit card from the link which will be available on the website.

The Admit card of MDU will consist of all the details which will be important for the applicant appearing for the exam on the day of the exam. It will mention the details such as the name of the candidate, date and timing of the exam, centre allotted to the candidate to appear for the exam and other important instructions to be followed by the candidate on the day of the exam. MDU Admission Procedure 2019

The candidates applying for the admission to the course must make sure that they are aware of the Admission procedure prescribed as per the guidelines of the University. The admission to some of the Undergraduate courses is through the Merit-based in which the candidates are granted admission to the course on the basis of the marks secured by them in their qualifying examination while for other UG courses the admission is provided on the basis of the marks secured by the candidate in the entrance examination.

Important Guidelines Regarding the Admission Procedure of other courses in MDU:

  • Admission to courses such as M.Com, MBA and LLM is provided on the basis of the entrance exam by Kurukshetra University.
  • Maharshi Dayanand University conducts MDU Common Entrance Exam for the admission to M.Sc. and M.Pharm courses.
  • Admission to LL.B is provided through an entrance examination.
  • Admission to BTTM, BHM, MA, M.Li.Sc, MHM, MTTM is done on the basis of the academic merit.
  • For M.Tech, candidates are shortlisted on the basis of the GATE Score. If GATE score is not available, candidates are admitted through the qualifying degree Merit.

MDU Result 2019

The Result of MDU Admissions will be released on the official website of the University providing the details of the candidates scores in the exam and whether they have passed the exam or not. The link of the result will be available as per on the scheduled date as announced by the examination conducting body of the University. Candidates who successfully appeared for the exam will be able to go through the details by providing the credentials which will be important for accessing the Result successfully. It must be noted that the release of the result and the cut of marks will be as per on the guidelines prescribed by the University.

Once the Result will be released by the University, candidates will have to wait for the further notice which will be announced on the official website of the University. It must be noted that the result will be released of the courses for which the entrance exam has been conducted. MDU Merit List 2019

The Merit List will be released by Maharshi Dayanand University mentioning the names of the candidates who have applied for the admission to the courses through the Merit procedure. The admission for these courses will be on the basis on the marks secured by the candidate in their qualifying examination. The Merit List will mention the details of the course for which the candidate appeared for and the rank secured by them as per the as per the marks in their qualifying examination.

Candidate must note that it is very important to secure a place in the Merit List if want to proceed with the admission procedure further. The steps regarding the counselling will be mentioned in the Merit List itself. It must be noted though that merely acquiring a place in the Merit List will not assure the admission, the final admission and the seat allotment will only be through the counselling procedure conducted by the University.

MDU Counselling for 2019 Admissions

The counselling procedure of final seat allotment will be conducted by MDU of the candidates who will be selected for the admission. It is important that they attend the counselling in order to acquire a seat in the applied course. The counselling procedure is conducted by the examination body of the University and the candidates selected for the counselling are provided with an Imitation letter mentioning all the important details for the counselling. Applicants must make sure that they do not miss the counselling, the seat allotted to them will be provided to the candidate next in waiting.

The Imitation letter provided to the candidate will be mentioning all the required details which will be important on the day of the counselling. The documents required, allotment centre, date of the counselling, reporting time and other important instructions will be provided on the day of the seat allotment. It is important that the candidates register themselves for the counselling and provide the preferred course and the college. Candidates must note that it will be important that the candidate does the payment of the Admission fee on the day of the counselling and bring all the documents along with the set of self-attested photocopies.

Documents Required for the MDU Counselling 2019

We have mentioned below the list of the documents which will be necessary for the candidates to bring on the day of the counselling. It must be made sure that they bring the self-attested photocopies of the documents. Its absence will prohibit the candidate from the seat allotment. Go through the list of the documents from below:

  • High School Certificate/Equivalent certificate.
  • Transfer Certificate.
  • Migration Certificate, if passed from the University other than University.
  • Intermediate Certificate/Equivalent certificate.
  • Marksheet of High School/equivalent and intermediate/equivalent.
  • Marksheet of the qualifying examination.
  • Required certificate if belonging to the reserved category (SC/ST/OBC).
  • The Admit Card of the last qualifying examination for which the candidate appeared for.
  • The courses for which the candidate gave the entrance exam, the admit card of the entrance examination will be required.
  • Certificate in support of a claim for Sports seat.
  • Candidates will also have to submit their Admission Fee on the day of the counselling and Document verification.
  • Income certificate of the guardian/parent, issued by the competent authority.
