MDU Admissions 2019: The application form for the for non-centralized admission is available from the 5th of June 2019. Maharshi Dayanand University in Rohtak is a Public State University offering various courses to the interested candidates. Maharshi Dayananda University has released the Admit Card for DDE PG Fresh Students (M.A./M.sc./M.Com) for May 2019 exams. The applicant must provide the correct credentials in order to download the Hall Ticket.  

MDU Admissions 2019 Dates

The schedule of Maharshi Dayanand University is released online on an official website of the University. Candidates who are planning on taking admission in any of the offered course of the University will have to go through the website and they keep themselves updated with the latest released information by visiting it regularly.

MDU Online Admission 2019

The application form for the Non-Centralized Procedure has been released on the 5th of June 2019. The candidates, who wish to take admission into various courses under the non-centralization can fill the application form. Before the candidate submits the application form, he/ she must make sure that he/ she is eligible enough. The submission of the application form is an important procedure. It is to be noted that in the online form, the candidate will have to enter many details. While filling the same, he/ she will have to make sure that all the details are correct. After that the candidate fills the form, he/ she will have to pay the mandatory fee.

How to Fill Online Form of MDU 2019?

  • Click on the link of the registration form mentioned in this article.
  • If you are a newbie to the website, then click on New User. The following screen will appear. The candidate will have to fill in certain details, i.e:
  1. Full name of the candidate
  2. Date of Birth of the applicant
  3. E-mail address
  4. Phone Number of the applicant
  5. Password

MDU Application Login

  • Click on Register Me Now.
  • Post that, you will receive a One Time Password (OTP) on your mobile phone as well as your e-mail ID.
  • Enter your OTP and click on Submit.
  • After that click on Applicant Login.
  • Log in with the help of the mandatory credentials, i.e, the ID of the applicant, his/ her date of Birth and Password.
  • Pay the mandatory fee.
  • Submit the form and print the same for future purposes.

Eligibility Criteria of MDU

The eligibility criteria have been defined by the examination conducting body of MDU University. It is important that the candidates applying for the admission to any of the course will have to make sure that they are fulfilling the eligibility and then only proceed for the admission to the course. The eligibility will be defined as per in the Information brochure which will be released along with the Application Form of the University. The courses offered by the Maharshi Dayanand University includes Undergraduate, Post Graduate, Diploma, Certificate as well as Research courses and the eligibility for the admission to each of the courses will vary as per the preference of the candidate.

MDU Admit Card 2019

The Admit card of the Common Entrance Exam and the University is released on the official website. Candidates who have successfully submitted the Application Form and have applied to the course were eligible to download the Admit card. The candidates, who were to appear in the examination had to bring the hall ticket to the examination center. Without the same, one would not be allowed to take the examination. In order to download Admit Card of MDU, the candidates had to fill in the mandatory credentials in the login section.

The details, that the candidate entered in the login section had to be correct and valid. Any inaccurate detail could stop the candidate from accessing the hall ticket of MDU. The MDU Hall Ticket contained a number of crucial details. The applicant must make sure that all the details in the admit card are correct. In case the candidate finds any kind of inaccuracy in the admit card, then he/ she must immediately contact the concerned authorities.

MDU Admission Procedure 2019

The candidates applying for the MDU Admissions 2019 must make sure that they are aware of the Admission procedure prescribed as per the guidelines of the University. The admission to some of the Undergraduate courses is through the Merit-based in which the candidates are granted admission to the course on the basis of the marks secured by them in their qualifying examination while for other UG courses the admission is provided on the basis of the marks secured by the candidate in the entrance examination.

For the admission to Post Graduate courses, the University conducts an entrance examination for the courses as prescribed. It is important that the candidates go through the admission procedure in detail before proceeding for filling the Admission Form.

Important Guidelines Regarding the Admission Procedure of other courses in MDU:

  • Admission to courses such as M.Com, MBA, and LLM is provided on the basis of the entrance exam by Kurukshetra University.
  • Maharshi Dayanand University conducts MDU Common Entrance Exam for the admission to M.Sc. and M.Pharm courses.
  • Admission to LL.B is provided through an entrance examination.
  • Admission to BTTM, BHM, MA, M.Li.Sc, MHM, MTTM is done on the basis of the academic merit.
  • For M.Tech, candidates are shortlisted on the basis of the GATE Score. If GATE score is not available, candidates are admitted through the qualifying degree Merit.

MDU 2019 Result

The result of MDU for the Centralized Procedure has been released on the 9th of July 2019. The applicants, who have taken the was able to retrieve the results. The candidate will be able to gain the MDU Scorecard on the official website. The result of MDU could be accessed by providing certain details in the login section. The marks mentioned in the MDU Result were based on the marks one secured in the entrance examination.

The university will be releasing the scorecard for the semester-wise examination that is conducted at a regular span. The candidates must stay tuned to this article in order to get the regular details about the same.

Merit List of MDU

The merit list of MDU has been released on the official website. The MDU Merit List mentions the name of the candidate who has qualified the examination. The university prepares the merit list on the basis of the marks one secured in the entrance examination. The merit list mentions the details of the course for which the candidate appeared for and the rank secured by them as per the marks in their qualifying examination. The candidate, who found their names in the merit list was eligible to attend the counseling session. It must be noted though that merely acquiring a place in the Merit List did not assure the admission, the final admission, and the seat allotment was only through the counseling procedure conducted by the University.

MDU Counselling 2019

The counseling procedure of final seat allotment was conducted on the 1st of August 2019. One, who qualified the examination had to attend the counseling session in order to acquire a seat in the applied course. The complete procedure was conducted by the university and the candidates, who got selected for the same were provided with an Intimation letter mentioning all the important details for the counseling session.

The Imitation letter provided to the candidate mentioned all the required details which were important on the day of the counseling. The documents required, allotment center, date of the counseling, reporting time and other important instructions were provided on the day of the seat allotment. The candidate had to register themselves for the counseling session and then provide the preferred course and the college. It was mandatory for one to pay the admission fee on the day of the counseling and bring all the documents along with the set of self-attested photocopies.

  • High School Certificate/Equivalent certificate.
  • Transfer Certificate.
  • Migration Certificate, if passed from the university other than University.
  • Intermediate Certificate/Equivalent certificate.
  • Marksheet of High School/equivalent and intermediate/equivalent.
  • Marksheet of the qualifying examination.
  • Required certificate if belonging to the reserved category (SC/ST/OBC).
  • The Admit Card of the last qualifying examination for which the candidate appeared for.
  • The courses for which the candidate gave the entrance exam, the admit card of the entrance examination will be required.
  • Certificate in support of a claim for Sports seat.
  • Candidates will also have to submit their Admission Fee on the day of the counseling and Document verification.
  • Income certificate of the guardian/parent, issued by the competent authority.
