Maharashtra Diploma Eligibility Criteria 2019

The candidates who applied for the admission to the diploma course must fulfill the criteria. It is an important part of the admission procedure and the candidates who will be found not fulfilling the eligibility will not be allowed to proceed with the admission procedure further. Candidates are advised that before proceeding for the Application Form they must go through the eligibility in detail and then only fill up the Application.

Note (1) -for candidates passing SSC from Maharashtra State Board :–

The candidates passing SSC with, Maths/Mathematics (Code 71) and Science & Technology (Code 72) are only eligible.

Note (2).–Other than Maharashtra State Candidates shall be eligible for Institution quota only

2.NRI / OCI / PIO, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf

countries, Foreign National.

(i) Passed Secondary School Certificate (SSC) or its equivalent, with at least 35% aggregate marks;

(ii) Any other criterion declared from time to time by the appropriate authority as defined under the Act.

Diploma in Pharmacy
1.Maharashtra State Candidature Candidate(i) The candidate should be an Indian National;

(ii) Passed the HSC with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the subject Mathematics or Biology (Botany and Zoology).

NOTE: – Other than Maharashtra State Candidates shall be eligible for Institution quota only.

(2) NRI / OCI / PIO, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries, Foreign National. –

(i) Passed the HSC with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the subject Mathematics or Biology (Botany and Zoology);

(ii) Any other criterion declared from time to time by the appropriate authority as defined under the Act.

2.Diploma in Hotel

Management and

Catering Technology

(1) Maharashtra State Candidature Candidate, Jammu and Kashmir Migrant Candidature Candidates. –

(i)The candidate should be an Indian National;

(ii) Passed HSC examination with at least 35% marks.

NOTE: Other than Maharashtra State Candidates shall be eligible for Institution quota only

Maharashtra Polytechnic Application Form 2019:

The Application Form of Maharashtra Polytechnic was released in an online mode on the official website and the candidates who were planning on applying for the admission to the diploma course had to fill up the Application and submit the form before the due date. The incomplete Application Forms was not accepted by the authorities. The candidates had to provide the details such as the Personal Details, Academic details, Contact information as well as uploading the photographs and the signatures as per the specifications provided in the Information Brochure.

The aspirants were also advised that they must go through the details mentioned in the Information Brochure very carefully so as to avoid any form of error while filling up the Application Form. The Application Form must be filled with the details which are valid and correct. Any form of misleading detail will lead to the cancellation of the candidature at the time of the final admission as the academic details mentioned in the Application will be cross-checked at the time of the admission. The final submission of the Application Form will only be after the payment of the Application fee.

Maharashtra Polytechnic Merit List 2019:

After receiving all the applications from the eligible candidates, the official authority prepared the merit list. Based on the merit rank, choice of college and stream, eligible candidate get admission into diploma courses. Maharashtra diploma Merit list was prepared based on the factors like Number of applicants Educational board from which the applicant has passed, Scored obtained by the applicants in SSC & HSC exam, Cut-off marks set by the counselling authority. IT is scheduled to release in the 3rd week of July 2019.

The candidates who have applied for the admission to the diploma course had to keep checking the website of Maharashtra Polytechnic for the release of the Merit List by the examination conducting body. It was important that in order to proceed with the admission procedure further, the candidates must have their name in Maharashtra Polytechnic Merit List 2019. The selected candidates were called for the counseling procedure which was organized by the authorities for the final seat allotment to the applied course.

Maharashtra Diploma Seat Reservation 2019

Maharashtra Polytechnic 2019 seat reservation: Applicants belonging to scheduled caste, scheduled tribe, and other backward class are treated as the reserved category. If applicants belonging to any of the mentioned castes must apply during application form filling for counseling. Students applying under reserved category must have a valid supporting certificate in the prescribed format to claim their category.

Maharashtra Diploma 2019 Counselling

Based on the merit rank and choice of college and stream, registered and eligible candidates get allotted seat in the participating institute. Maharashtra Diploma Counselling is popularly known by the name Centralised Admission Process (CAP). It is an important procedure which was conducted by the authorities and the candidates who have acquired a place in the Merit List were eligible to attend the counseling round. Candidates who registered themselves for the counseling were provided with an allotted centre where they had to report in person along with the official documents for the verification.

At first, the official authority publishes the seat matrix on the official website. Registered applicants may fill in maximum 300 choices of Institutes and one preferred courses in decreasing order of their preference. Based on their choice of colleges and merit, seats will be allotted to them. After CAP Round-1, vacant seats will be published and candidates can again fill and lock their choice of college. This process will continue till all the seats in the institute gets filled up.
