Maharashtra Polytechnic 2019: To get admission into three years of diploma courses in the state Maharashtra, students need to fulfil the eligibility criteria. No entrance exam is conducted by the authority to shortlist the students for admission purpose. State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra is the official authority which is responsible to conduct the Maharashtra Diploma Counselling 2019. Admission into first-year diploma courses is also known as First Year of Post SSC Diploma in Engineering and Technology. All the eligible Candidates who have submitted application form shall be assigned a merit number. The merit list shall be prepared on the basis of marks obtained at qualifying examination. The candidates who will be applying for the admission to the diploma course in Maharashtra Polytechnic must make sure that they are fulfilling the eligibility criteria as prescribed by the examination conducting body. It is an important part of the admission procedure and the candidates who will be found not fulfilling the eligibility will not be allowed to proceed with the admission procedure further. The eligibility criteria are defined by the authorities and will be mentioned in detail in the Information Brochure which will be released along with the Application Form of Maharashtra Diploma. Candidates are advised that before proceeding for the Application Form they must go through the eligibility in detail and then only fill up the Application.

(ii) Any other criterion declared from time to time by the appropriate authority as defined under the Act.
|Diploma in Pharmacy|
|1.||Maharashtra State Candidature Candidate||(i) The candidate should be an Indian National;|
(ii) Passed the HSC with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the subject Mathematics or Biology (Botany and Zoology).
NOTE: – Other than Maharashtra State Candidates shall be eligible for Institution quota only.
(2) NRI / OCI / PIO, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries, Foreign National. –
(i) Passed the HSC with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the subject Mathematics or Biology (Botany and Zoology);
(ii) Any other criterion declared from time to time by the appropriate authority as defined under the Act.
|2.||Diploma in Hotel|
|(1) Maharashtra State Candidature Candidate, Jammu and Kashmir Migrant Candidature Candidates. –|
(i)The candidate should be an Indian National;
(ii) Passed HSC examination with at least 35% marks.
NOTE: Other than Maharashtra State Candidates shall be eligible for Institution quota only
The Application Form of Maharashtra Polytechnic will be released in an online mode on the official website and the candidates who are planning on applying for the admission to the diploma course will have to fill up the Application and submit the form before the due date. The availability of the forms will be as per on the date as announced by the examination conducting body and candidates will have to keep themselves updated with the latest release of the notification of the Application Form. It is important of the admission procedure and the candidates must submit the form in detail and must not miss any sections of the Application Form. The incomplete Application Forms will not be accepted by the authorities.
The candidates will have to provide the details such as the Personal Details, Academic details, Contact information as well as uploading the photographs and the signatures as per the specifications provided in the Information Brochure. The aspirants are also advised that they must go through the details mentioned in the Information Brochure very carefully so as to avoid any form of error while filling up the Application Form. The Application Form must be filled with the details which are valid and correct. Any form of misleading detail will lead to the cancellation of the candidature at the time of the final admission as the academic details mentioned in the Application will be cross-checked at the time of the admission. The final submission of the Application Form will only be after the payment of the Application fee.
Maharashtra Polytechnic Merit List 2019:
After receiving all the applications from the eligible candidates, the official authority prepares the merit list. Based on the merit rank, choice of college and stream, eligible candidate get admission into diploma courses. Maharashtra diploma Merit list is prepared based on the factors like Number of applicants Educational board from which the applicant has passed, Scored obtained by the applicants in SSC & HSC exam, Cut-off marks set by the counselling authority. Link to check the merit list will be provided here. IT is scheduled to release in the 3rd week of July 2019. Maharashtra Polytechnic 2019 Merit list will contain the details like name of the applicant, merit rank, score of the qualifying exam, category, gender etc.
The candidates who have applied for the admission to the diploma course will have to keep checking the website of Maharashtra Polytechnic for the release of the Merit List by the examination conducting body. It is important that in order to proceed with the admission procedure further, the candidates must have their name in Maharashtra Polytechnic Merit List 2019. The selected candidates will be called for the counselling procedure which will be organized by the authorities for the final seat allotment to the applied course. It is advised that the candidates must go through the officially released Merit List in detail and in case if any form of the discrepancy is found in the details of the Merit List, they must contact the examination conducting body immediately.
Maharashtra Diploma Seat Reservation 2019
Maharashtra Polytechnic 2019 seat reservation: Applicants belonging to scheduled caste, scheduled tribe and other backward class are treated as the reserved category. If applicants belonging to any of the mentioned castes must apply during application form filling for counselling. Students applying under reserved category must have a valid supporting certificate in the prescribed format to claim their category.

Maharashtra Diploma 2019 Counselling
Based on the merit rank and choice of college and stream, registered and eligible candidates get allotted seat in the participating institute. Maharashtra Diploma Counselling is popularly known by the name Centralised Admission Process (CAP). The counselling procedure will be held by the authorities for the final seat allotment of the candidates to the course. It is an important procedure which will be conducted by the authorities and the candidates who have acquired a place in the Merit List will be eligible to attend the counselling round. Candidates will have to register themselves for the counselling and they will be provided with an allotted centre where they will have to report in person along with the official documents for the verification.
At first, the official authority publishes the seat matrix on the official website. Registered applicants may fill in maximum 300 choices of Institutes and one preferred courses in decreasing order of their preference. Based on their choice of colleges and merit, seats will be allotted to them. After CAP Round-1, vacant seats will be published and candidates can again fill and lock their choice of college. This process will continue till all the seats in the institute gets filled up.
