Maharashtra Polytechnic 2019Maharashtra Polytechnic 2019: To get admission into three years of diploma courses in the state Maharashtra, students need to fulfil the eligibility criteria. No entrance exam is conducted by the authority to shortlist the students for admission purpose. State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra is the official authority which is responsible to conduct the Maharashtra Diploma Counselling 2019. Admission into first-year diploma courses is also known as First Year of Post SSC Diploma in Engineering and Technology. All the eligible Candidates who have submitted application form shall be assigned a merit number. The merit list shall be prepared on the basis of marks obtained at qualifying examination. The Maharashtra Diploma application form will be available online around the 3rd week of June 2019. Maharashtra Diploma Eligibility Criteria 2019

To register for Maharashtra Diploma Admission 2019, students need to possess the below mention eligibility conditions. Criteria is different for the students belonging to different caste and states.

Diploma in Engineering and Technology
1. Maharashtra State Candidature Candidate, Jammu and Kashmir Migrant Candidature Candidates. – (i) The Candidate should be an Indian National ;

(ii) Passed Secondary School Certificate (SSC) or its equivalent, with at least 35% aggregate marks.

Note (1) -for candidates passing SSC from Maharashtra State Board :–

The candidates passing SSC with, Maths/Mathematics (Code 71) and Science & Technology (Code 72) are only eligible.

Note (2).–Other than Maharashtra State Candidates shall be eligible for Institution quota only

2. NRI / OCI / PIO, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf

countries, Foreign National.

(i) Passed Secondary School Certificate (SSC) or its equivalent, with at least 35% aggregate marks;

(ii) Any other criterion declared from time to time by the appropriate authority as defined under the Act.

Diploma in Pharmacy
1. Maharashtra State Candidature Candidate (i) The candidate should be an Indian National;

(ii) Passed the HSC with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the subject Mathematics or Biology (Botany and Zoology).

NOTE: – Other than Maharashtra State Candidates shall be eligible for Institution quota only.

(2) NRI / OCI / PIO, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries, Foreign National. –

(i) Passed the HSC with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the subject Mathematics or Biology (Botany and Zoology);

(ii) Any other criterion declared from time to time by the appropriate authority as defined under the Act.

2. Diploma in Hotel

Management and

Catering Technology

(1) Maharashtra State Candidature Candidate, Jammu and Kashmir Migrant Candidature Candidates. –

(i)The candidate should be an Indian National;

(ii) Passed HSC examination with at least 35% marks.

NOTE: Other than Maharashtra State Candidates shall be eligible for Institution quota only

Maharashtra Diploma Admission 2019 Application Form

The official counselling authority of Maharashtra State will start accepting applications from 3rd week of June 2019 in online mode. The Maharashtra diploma application form will be available to participate in the Maharashtra Polytechnic 2019 Admission counselling process. No entrance exam is conducted for admission into diploma programme.

Maharashtra Polytechnic 2019 Merit List

After receiving all the applications from the eligible candidates, the official authority prepares the merit list. Based on the merit rank, choice of college and stream, eligible candidate get admission into diploma courses. Maharashtra diploma Merit list is prepared based on the factors like Number of applicants Educational board from which the applicant has passed, Scored obtained by the applicants in SSC & HSC exam, Cut-off marks set by the counselling authority. Link to check the merit list will be provided here. IT is scheduled to release in the 3rd week of July 2019. Maharashtra polytechnic 2019 Merit list will contain the details like name of the applicant, merit rank, score of the qualifying exam, category, gender etc.

Maharashtra Diploma Seat Reservation 2019

Maharashtra polytechnic 2019 seat reservation: Applicants belonging to scheduled caste, scheduled tribe and other backward class are treated as the reserved category. If applicants belonging to any of the mentioned castes must apply during application form filling for counselling. Students applying under reserved category must have a valid supporting certificate in the prescribed format to claim their category.

Maharashtra Diploma 2019 Counselling

Based on the merit rank and choice of college and stream, registered and eligible candidates get allotted seat in the participating institute. Maharashtra Diploma Counselling is popularly known by the name Centralised Admission Process (CAP).

At first, the official authority publishes the seat matrix on the official website. Registered applicants may fill in maximum 300 choices of Institutes and one preferred courses in decreasing order of their preference. Based on their choice of colleges and merit, seats will be allotted to them. After CAP Round-1, vacant seats will be published and candidates can again fill and lock their choice of college. This process will continue till all the seats in the institute gets filled up.
