MAH B.Ed CET Centralized Admission Process (CAP) 2019

After the release of the Result/Merit List by Directorate of Higher Education, Maharashtra, candidates will have to take part in the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) which will be held under the authority of Commissioner, Common Entrance Test, Mumbai. Under this, the candidates who have qualified the exam and have their names in the Merit List will be eligible to take part in the process. The candidates have to register themselves first and the Merit List will be prepared as per the marks secured by the candidate in Common Entrance Test (CET). Candidates will have to provide the choices and their preferences for the procedure further and for the final seat allotment to College of Maharashtra. After the final round of Centralized Admission Process (CAP), the candidates will be allotted the seats as per the preference and the availability of the seats.

The procedure to be followed by the candidate for Centralized Admission Process  (CAP) will be mentioned in the Information Brochure which will be released after the declaration of MAH B.Ed CET Result 2019. It will be important for the candidate to go through the Information Brochure very carefully and then proceed for Centralized Admission Process (CAP). Find the detailed Procedure from below:

Step 1: Inviting CAP Application Form: All the candidates who have appeared for the exam and have secured a non zero score will be able to fill the Online Application Form for CAP. The Link of ‘New Registration’ will be available on the website. Candidates will have to get themselves registered for CAP and then can proceed for the filling the Application Form for Centralized Admission Process (CAP) 2019.

Step 2: Preparation of the Merit List: The candidates who have submitted the Application Number will be assigned a Merit Number. The Merit list will be prepared on the basis of the marks secured by the candidates in the Common Entrance Test (CET). The Merit List will be available on the official website of Directorate of Higher Education, Maharashtra.

Step 3: Filling the Option Form: Candidates will be provided with an option form in order to provide the preferences of the college they want to take admission in for pursuing the course. The provided options of the colleges by the candidates will be considered for the admission by the authorities for allotment in CAP Round 1 and 2. It is advised that the candidates go through the details of the college they will be applying for very carefully and then only provide their preference.

Step 4: Provisional Allotment and Fee: The authorities will display the list of allotment of seats for Round 1 and 2 based on the choices provided by the candidate in the form. The seat acceptance fee has to be paid through Demand Draft in favour of the admitted college. Candidates are advised to go through the instructions carefully.

Step 5: ‘Freeze and Float the Allotted Seat’: The candidate has to select either the Freeze or Float option for the seat allotment procedure. The candidate has to select the Freeze option if they are satisfied with the allotted institute and have to pay the full admission fee at the allotted institute.  Candidates will have to select the Float Option if they wish to continue with the allotment and expect the allotment in a better institute. After the options have been provided, the allotment will be done automatically by the system.

Step 6: Reporting and Confirming the Admission: After the final round of Centralized Admission Process (CAP), candidates will have to report at the Institute finally allotted to them and confirm the admission. Candidates will have to pay the requisite amount of admission fee and submit the asked documents for the admission to the allotted Institute.
