KVPY Cutoff 2018: The Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore has released the KVPY 2018 Cut-off on 21st December. Candidates can check the Cut off for KVPY now. The KVPY 2018 cut off is the minimum qualifying marks that the candidates need to obtain in order to be eligible for admission procedure. KVPY stands for Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana and is a scholarship programme funded by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India. The KVPY 2018 application form was released on 11th July 2018 and will end on 31st August 2018.

KVPY 2018 Cutoff

KVPY Cutoff 2018: After the declaration of Results of KVPY, the cut-off is released. The cut-off is the lowest defined marks that a candidate must obtain in order to qualify for the exam. The cut-off has been released online. IISc has determined the KVPY 2018 cut off for all candidates. The cut off is the minimum marks that each candidate must obtain to be eligible for KVPY scholarship.

  • The concerned authority has released two KVPY cut offs to shortlist candidates for the scholarship.
  • The first KVPY 2018 cut-off is released after the aptitude test has been conducted.
  • It is released to make the selection of candidates for the second phase of the interview round.
  • The second and final KVPY cut off 2018 will be published after both rounds of aptitude test and interview have been conducted.
  • The final merit list will be prepared by providing 75% weightage to the aptitude test and 25% weightage to interview.
  • KVPY 2018 cut off will be released separately for different categories.

    Stream SA – SC/ST – 32 marks out of 100
    Stream SA – PWD – 32 marks out of 100
  • Stream SB (GN and OBC)- 43 marks out of 100
    Stream SB – SC/ST -30 marks out of 100
    Stream SB – PWD – 30 marks out of 100
  • Stream SX (GN and OBC) – 53 marks out of 100
    Stream SX – SC/ST – 40 marks out of 100

KVPY 2018 Selection Procedure
