Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has officially released the timetable for KECT 2018 exam. Candidates are advised to have a look at the timetable given below in order to know the examination date and time.
KCET Result 2018
KCET 2018 result is expected to be declared online by the last week of May 2018. Qualified candidates will be assigned ranks as per their result in KCET 2018. In case of any discrepancies found in the result, candidates may submit their objections within three days from the date of publication of the KCET 2018 result.
KCET Counselling 2018
The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) will start the counselling of KCET 2018 by the first week of August 2018. Qualifying candidates who secure a rank will be called for KCET 2018 counselling on the dates assigned as per their ranks. The counselling of KCET 2018 is likely to be conducted in two rounds and one extended round (if seats remain vacant). Candidates having their names in the allotment result have to make the fee payment and download admission order by the 2nd week of August 2018. The candidates have to enter their choice of Institutes and Courses. Seats are allotted to candidates as per their final option entry. KCET Cut off 2018
KCET 2018 cutoff will be announced by the KEA in the form of opening and closing ranks. To be eligible for admissions to various government and private colleges, candidates need to obtain the cut off marks of KCET 2018. Candidates failing to score within the closing cutoff rank will not be admitted to any of the undergraduate courses offered by the participating Institutes.
KCET Seat Allotment 2018
KCET 2018 seat allotment will be conducted in four rounds. Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their choice of institute and courses and availability of seats. Selected candidates will then have to make the fee payment and download admission order. KCET seat allotment is declared in online mode. Seat allotment of KCET is prepared in order of merit and based on choices entered by candidates taking the seat matrix into consideration. KCET Answer Key 2018
10:00 AM – Provisional Answer key of All subjects Released –
The provisional answer key of KCET 2018 is likely to be announced by the 1st week of May 2018. The KCET answer key will enable candidates to calculate their expected score in the exam. In case of any discrepancies, they can challenge the official answer key before the release of the final KCET 2018 answer key which is likely to be available by the last week of May 2018.

KCET 2018 Application Form
Coming to the most crucial part of the exam where most of the student commit mistakes. Admission forms play an important role in the process of acquiring a seat in college. All candidates must have a clear look at the brochure of KCET 2018 examination before filling up the form of KCET. The KCET 2018 online application form was made available only through online mode. No other mode was applicable to get the application form. Candidates could fill the KCET 2018 application form online from 1st Feb, 2018. However, the last date to register and fill the form online was 22nd March, 2018.

Eligibility Criteria for KCET 2018
The examination authority of KCET exam releases a set of eligibility criteria that the applicants must possess in order to appear in the entrance exam. Before filling up the online application form, applicants are advised to go through the eligibility criteria carefully. KCET 2018 Reservation of seat
Reservation of seats are made in favour of candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes(SC), Scheduled Tribes(ST) and Other Backward classes(OBC) in KCET 2018. Candidates belonging to reserved categories are required to submit documents such as certificates issued by the concerned Tahasildar in the forms during the verification of original documents at the helpline centres.

Kannada language test: Candidates from Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga need to appear in the Kannada language test. It will be conducted by KEA in a test centre located at Bangalore only. The Difficulty level of Kannada language test is of 4th standard level.

KCET 2018 will be held in around 53 exam centres across 29 districts of the state such as Bangalore, Ramanagara, Chikmangalur, Gulbarga and Mysore among others. Candidates have to choose KCET 2018 exam city as per their convenience while filling the application form. The name and address of KCET exam centre 2018 will be mentioned on the admit card.
KCET 2018 Admit Card
KCET 2018 Admit Card is issued on the 5th of April 2018. Candidates who will successfully complete the registration process will be issued the KCET 2018 hall tickets. The KCET 2018 admit card will contain important information such as name of the candidate, address of exam centre, exam date and time and exam day guidelines.
