JK MBBS Admission 2019 has been started. The Conducting Body of JK MBBS/BDS 2019 Admission is Board of Professional Entrance Examination (BOPEE). Candidates who wish to get admission in Jammu and Kashmir Medical and Dental Colleges can through this article. The Authority will conduct the Admission Process based on the NEET 2019 Scores. JK MBBS/BDS Admission 2019

Jammu and Kashmir MBBS and BDS Admission Process will start from June 2019 onwards. The Admission process is held on the basis of NEET 2019 Scores and the eligibility criteria. The Non-Participation of the Colleges implies the candidates belonging to Jammu and Kashmir are ineligible to participate in AIQ Counselling. Candidates who will submit a self-declaration will be eligible for AIQ Counselling and will also become eligible for Jammu and Kashmir MBBS Admission 2019. BOPEE will conduct the admission process based on NEET 2019 Scores only. Candidates are advised to fill in the application form correctly, otherwise, the application form will be rejected by the Examination Authority.

JK MBBS Admission Criteria 2019


  • The Candidates must be a citizen of India.
  • Candidates must be a permanent resident of Jammu and Kashmir.


  • The minimum age of the candidate must be 17 years as on 31st December 2019
  • Candidates above 25 years of age are also eligible to apply for Jammu and Kashmir MBBS/BDS Admission 2019.

Educational Qualification

  • Candidates must have passed Class 12th Board from a recognized Institution of the State.
  • The Applicants are required to obtain 50% (for General Category), 45% (For PWD General) and 40% (for Reserved Categories) in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English.
  • Candidates have to qualify NEET 2019 UG with minimum qualified marks.
  • Candidates applying under sports, children of defense personnel, poor and backward categories will be considered if they have scored minimum qualified marks.

JK MBBS Application Form 2019

JK MBBS/BDS Application Form 2019 will be available in May 2019. The JK MBBS Application Form 2019 will be available online on the official website of BOPEE. Candidates who satisfy the eligibility criteria will be eligible to fill in the application form. A separate link will be available for filling the application form. The mode of the application form is online. Candidates who will successfully fill in the application form of Jammu and Kashmir will be included in the merit list considering that their form is accepted and the documents are verified.

Document Verification in JK MBBS Counseling 2019

Along with the release of JK MBBS Admission Form 2019, the conducting authority will start the Document Verification Process. The JK Document Verification Round will be conducted online. Candidates are required to upload the documents online. The Size of the Document must be between 100 to 200 Kb. The documents must be scanned properly. Candidates have to upload the following documents before 24th June 2019.

JK MBBS Merit List 2019

The JK MBBS Merit List 2019 will be available online on the official website of BOPEE. The Merit List will contain the names of those candidates who have successfully submitted their application form and qualified NEET 2019 with good scores. JK Merit List will contain the names of the candidates in decreasing order. This means that if the candidate has scored the highest mark in NEET 2019 will be ranked first and so on. The merit list is released category-wise in PDF Format so that it can be easy to download.

The State Merit List will contain the Name of the candidate, Date of Birth, NEET Roll Number, Application Number, Category, Father’s Name etc. The State Merit List will contain the names of the candidates who are eligible for the counselling round.

JK MBBS Counselling 2019

The Counselling Session of Jammu and Kashmir will be conducted online in June and July 2019. If any seats have remained vacant, then a Mop-Up Round Counselling will take place. The Mop-Up Round Counselling is conducted offline. In the JK MBBS/BDS Counselling 2019 (Online Mode), candidates have to log in and submit their choice of college and courses within the stipulated time. In Offline Round of Counselling, candidates will have to report the allotted center. Based on the merit list, the admission of the candidates will take place. There will be a total of two round of counselling followed by a Mop-Up Round.

JK MBBS Seat Allotment 2019

The Seat Allotment is the result of JK MBBS Counselling 2019. Based on the Counselling, Merit, and Availability of the Seats, candidates will be allotted seats. Candidates whose name is included on the Seat Allotment List will have to report the allotted Institute. The Conducting Body will release the list of the documents that have to be shown by the candidates. The Fees of Jammu and Kashmir MBBS BDS Admission 2019 will also be submitted at the allotted college.
