National Testing Agency (NTA) is conducting the examination of JEE Main 2019 from 7th April 2019 to 12th April 2019. Candidates whose admit card is available for download shall be able to sit for the examination. The examination is conducted in 2 Shifts. The 1st Shift of the examination is organized in between 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m and the 2nd shift is from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Candidates have to take the examination at the various JEE Main Exam Center across the country. JEE Main 12th April 2019 Student Reaction (Shift 2) by Aglasem


As the Shift 2 paper is over now with this JEE Main examination for the year 2019 has been successfully conducted. The gate has been opened and candidates were seen making their way out after giving the exam. Here are the reactions of some of the candidates:

Aryan felt that the exam was easy and he found Physics and Mathematics were moderate and Chemistry was relatively easy. He told that in Physics there were more topics covered from the class 11th syllabus. There were a lot of questions from Soundwaves and fewer questions from Optics. In Mathematics sections there were many questions from 3D. He also told that there were no repeated questions. He has appeared in Jan session too in which he attempted 42 questions and scored 93.6%. This time he has attempted 51 questions and expects to get a higher score than the previous session examination. He is also going to appear in Manipal, BITS, VITEEE and SRMJEEE.

Ram said that his exam went good and was according to his preparation. To him, the Organic part from Chemistry section seemed to be tough. He found Physics and Mathematics were moderate but lengthy. He expects to get 150 plus score and attempted more than 40 questions. In January he obtained 85%.

Bhavishya said his exam was very good and found Physics to be hard and Chemistry and Mathematics moderate. In Physics there were 7-8 questions from Mechanics and all the questions were tricky. He also told that some topics were similar as that came in the previous session like Boolean Algebra, Mathematical Reasoning, and Refractive Index. He is further preparing for JEE Advanced. He was asked about his preference related to online and offline mode and he said that he prefers online mode as this mode allows students to change their answers till the last moment which is not all possible in offline mode. He faced some technical issue as his computer was not connecting to the server but then he was allotted a new system.

Apurva said that her exam was moderate and told that the difficulty level was similar to the January session. She found Maths tough. In physics, there was 1 question from Mechanics, 2 questions from Optics, 1 from EM Waves, and 3 from Thermodynamics. In Chemistry, there were few numerical based questions and equal weightage was given to Organic and Inorganic part. In the Mathematics section, there was 1 question fromComples Numbers, 2 from Probability and Statistics, 1 from Sequence and Series and 2 from Trigonometry. She has also appeared in January exam and scored 96 percentile and now she expects to get 99 percentile.

JEE Main 12th April 2019 Student Reaction (Shift 1) by Aglasem

Pooja has also appeared for the January examination. According to the level of the examination was the same as the previous session. She found Physics to be the toughest section.

Prikshit said that the difficulty level was similar to that of the January exam. He personally felt Physics was difficult. He attempted the previous session and scored 90 percentile in it. This time he is expecting marks above 150 and also told that he is preparing for JEE Advanced too.

Shivam said that his exam was good but it was lengthy. He told that there was not much difference but the exam was slightly difficult in comparison to the January session. o him, Physics seemed to be moderate and Mathematics was lengthy. In Physics, there were many questions from Mechanics, 2 from Optics, 1 from Electrostatic and 2 fro. Thermodynamics. In Mathematics, there were a lot of questions from Calculus topic. He also told that more weightage was given to class 12th syllabus. He has appeared in January exam and obtained 85%.

Arya found that this session exam was easier than the previous one as he has appeared in the previous session examination also. He told that Chemistry was really very easy and most of the questions were from NCERT and Mathematics was okay. In Mathematics, Calculus and Coordinate Geometry topics were easy, Algebra was tricky and there were no questions from Permutation and Combination and Probability instead in place of these topics the other topics included was Sequence and Series, Binomial, AOI and Integration. According to him, the Physics sections was the toughest and contained most of the questions from class 11th syllabus such as from Mechanica and Thermodynamics. In Chemistry, the way to approach the questions was somewhat similar as in the January exam. He told that there were no repeated questions. He is further preparing for BITSAT and VIT. In January exam, he had scored 98.6 percentile. In this session exam, he has attempted 76 questions and expects to get marks between 265 to 280.

JEE Main 10th April 2019 Student Reaction (Shift 2) by Aglasem


Candidates were seen exiting the examination centre after the conclusion of JEE Main 2019 10th April Shift 2 exam. Let’s hear what candidates said after giving the exam:

Mohit said he found Physics really tough and there were many questions from Mechanics whereas fewer questions from Electrostatics. He also told that the questions from EM Waves were hard while the questions from Semiconductor were easy. According to him, the Chemistry section was easy and weightage of Inorganic part was more in the exam. He expects to get a score between 150-200.

Gitaksha has also appeared in January session and felt that the difficulty level was more or less the same. She told that this time Maths was slightly difficult but Chemistry balanced it. To her Physics seemed to be the toughest section. She personally found Mathematics was easy and the weightage of Calculus was more. In the previous session, she scored 89 percentile and now she expects to get 92% or 93% as she has attempted a total of 60 questions. She is also preparing for BITS and VIT. She also felt that an online test is better as it less time consuming as compared to offline test. She suggests students to prepare the following topics: Mechanics from Physics, Inorganic part from Chemistry and Calculus and Algebra from Mathematics.

Naman felt that the exam was lengthy and the level was moderate. He found Chemistry tough and told that he has also given the exam in January session and score 97.3%. His this session exam went the same as before.

Vidit said according to him Physics and Mathematics were tough. He told that he found January exam was more difficult and there were no repeated questions. In January session he obtained 98.4 percentile and this time he expects to get 200 plus marks.

JEE Main 10th April 2019 Student Reaction (Shift 1) by Aglasem


Kumkum said her exam was okay. She felt this session was more difficult than the January session. She personally found Mathematics was difficult among all the sections. She told in Physics, there were questions fro  Mechanics and in Chemistry most of the questions were from the Inorganic part. Shes is expecting to score above 200 marks and in the previous session she has scored 90 percentile. She is further preparing for NATA.

Yogesh exam went good. He felt Chemistry and Mathematics were difficult in this session than the January session. He told that in Physics there were a lot of numerical based questions. He found Chemistry very easy and Mathematics moderate. He attempted most questions from the Organic part in Chemistry. He is expecting a score between 200-250 and he also told that he has obtained 69% in January attempt. He aims to get admission in Bombay college.

Nishant said that the exam was quite easy compared to the January session and the pattern of questions was almost similar. He personally felt that Physics was the toughest, Mathematics was moderate and Chemistry was the easiest. Equal weightage was given to class 11th and 12th syllabus in the exam. He attempted 61 questions and expecting a score above 150. He has also appeared in the previous session ad scored 92% and now he is also preparing for VITEEE and NDA. He told that IIT Kharagpur is his dream college from where wants to pursue Electronics or Electrical Engineering.

JEE Main 9th April 2019 Student Reaction (Shift 2) by Aglasem

Parents and Grandparents were waiting for their kids and they have good expectation from them. They are confident enough that their children must have performed well in the exam. Now let’s hear the student’s reactions:

Ashish found Maths to be tough. He has also given the exam in January session and according to him, there was not much difference between the January exam and April exam based on the difficulty level. He told that the exam pattern was the same. In Mathematics the questions were from Coordinate, 2D and 3D, Differential Calculus. He is expecting around 200 marks in this attempt and has scored 92 percentile in the previous attempt. He is also preparing for BITSAT. There were no repeated questions.

Rupam personally felt Mathematics was hard and Physics was moderate but still her exam went good. In Physics section, there were 2-3 questions from Mechanics and many numerical based questions were asked. She attempted more questions from Chemistry section. She is expecting 85 bove marks. According to her, the Online test is more advantageous. She wants to join BHU. She suggests candidates to prepare well the numerical part from Physics sections and to study important topics deeply.

Vishal said that the difficulty level was somewhat similar. He told that cutoff may rise because students have prepared well this time for the exam. According to him, there are both pros and cons of providing 2 attempts to candidates by NTA. He found Mathematics tough. In Physics the main topics covered were Mechanics and Optics. His main focus is on JEE Advanced. He was asked which mode would he prefer online or offline and in response, he said online mode because it is time saving and students can change their answers any number of times.

JEE Main 9th April 2019 Student Reaction (Shift 1) by Aglasem


Parents were eagerly waiting for their kids as Shift 1 of JEE Main Paper 1 was going to be concluded. Here are the reactions and expectations of some parents when asked about their children:

Anil Sharma father of Aman Sharma told that his son was preparing from last 1 year for JEE Main exam and he has prepared really well. His son also attempted the January examination and scored 96%. His son used to study for at least 18 hours a day.

Sagar’s father told that his son studied all by himself and has not taken any coaching. His son has just qualified 12th board exams.

Bhawna’s Father said that her daughter dropped from class 12th last year and taken the coaching from FIITJEE. She prepared well for the exam and he expects that all students perform well in the exam and he wished all candidates best of luck for their result. He was asked if there was any advantage of giving two chances to the students and which mode is and in response, he said yes students can improve their percentage and they can prepare well.

Candidates were seen coming out of the examination centre and let’s see what their reaction is after taking the Shift 1 examination:

Mayank said his exam went good and he found all the three subjects Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics equally moderate. In Mathematics there were a lot of questions from Geometry part. In Physics, there were only 2 questions from Optics, and the other topics included were Mechanics, Electrostatics, Thermodynamics. He told that the exam pattern and level were similar to the January session. There were no repeated questions although the concepts applied were the same. In Chemistry, the Organic part was more and Inorganic part was fully from the NCERT. According to him, there was one question in Mathematics which was really tough from the Matrices topic. He feels online mode is much better as students can get enough amount of rough sheets. He has also appeared in January session and scored 97.6 percentile and he is expecting 99 plus in the April session examination. He attempted 69 questions and expects a score between 240 to 250.

Abhishek personally felt that Chemistry was comparatively easy from Chemistry and Mathematics. He has also attempted the January exam and told that this time the exam was difficult than the previous one. Overall his exam was good. He is also preparing for NDA and IPU CET. He expects to score above 90% in this session and in the January exam he has score 89%. To him, an online test is much better as students get an idea regarding how many questions have been attempted and how many are left. He told that his dream college is DTU and suggests candidates to manage time properly. There was no technical issue inside the examination hall.

JEE Main 8th April 2019 Student Reaction (Shift 2) by Aglasem


Parents were seen waiting for their children outside the examination centre and they expect that their kids must have performed well. The examination is over now and applicants were seen coming out. Let’s see what their reaction is about the exam:

Divyansh said his exam was okay. He told that Physics was tricky but not difficult and Maths was lengthy. The weightage of the class 12th syllabus was more than the class 11th syllabus. He was asked about the expected score and in reply, he answered that he will get to know about it after the declaration of Result.

Shweta personally felt that her exam went fine. She told that this session exam was comparatively easy from the January session exam as she has appeared in it too. According to her Maths was difficult. In Physics, the main topics covered were Mechanics, Optics and EM Waves. In Maths, the questions were from the following topics: Differential Calculus, Complex Numbers, Probability and Integration. In Chemistry, there were questions from both Inorganic and Organic part. The organic part had questions based on simple reactions.

Orithero said that his exam was pretty good and to him, Physics seemed to be tough rather than Maths and Chemistry. He told that one of the student’s id did not work so he faced some trouble but then was able to give the exam. He is also preparing for VIT, BITS, Manipal, KIT. He attempted 60 questions and expects to get 150.

Abhinay found Mathematics difficult. He attempted 50 questions and assumes that 45 questions to be right. There was no technical issue in the examination hall. He was asked to give some tips to the students so he said that students must study Environmental from Chemistry and Electrostatics from Physics. He has also appeared in January examination. and told that this time Maths was difficult and Physics and Chemistry were easy. He is also appearing for WBJEE.

Rajat said his exam went too good and told Mathematics was difficult and Physics was moderate. He is expecting above 90% marks and also appeared in January and scored 88%. He also told the advantage of Online mode that we can recorrect the mistake and there is no shortage of rough sheets ad he prefers Online Test. He also told that in the Physics section there was one question whose two options were exactly same. He has attempted 60 questions and estimates 50 questions to be right and expects 200 above score in the exam.

JEE Main 8th April 2019 Student Reaction (Shift 1) by Aglasem


Shift 1 of JEE Main Paper 1(B.Tech) has been conducted. Candidates have exited the exam centre at 12:30 pm and here are the reactions of them:

Kopal was asked whether she has appeared in the January session which was conducted earlier and in reply, she said yes and also compared the January session with April session. She told the January examination was lengthy and the examination has been conducted now was achievable and questions were easily attemptable. She felt that Physics was tough.

Karan personally felt Physics was harder than Chemistry and Mathematics. The question from the Physics section was based on the following topics Current Electricity, Magnetism, Thermodynamics from class 11 th syllabus. Chemistry section was quite easy and there were basic questions from Organic and Inorganic. Mathematics was comparatively easy from the January session and Chemistry was a bit tough. There were no repeated questions and no similar pattern. He expects that it was good and attempted 47 questions. He is also preparing for BITS.

Harsh said that the exam went good. He found Physics to be tough and there were fewer questions from Mechanics near around 5 or 6 and 3 really hard questions from Optics and questions from Electrostatic topic were easy. There was one question in the Physics part about Equilibrium of Electro Field and Tension. The questions from the Chemistry section were moderate and one question was asked about predicting the color of ions. From Mathematics question was asked on Coefficient on Binomials. Harsh is preparing for JEE Advanced too. According to him one question from Thermodynamics has some flaws and he advised all aspirants to do as many Mock Test as possible. He also suggests to attempt sections in the following sequence: Chemistry, Maths and then at last Physics.

Vinay is going to appear in Shift 2 of Paper 1 and he has prepared for the exam by doing self-study. Last year he qualified class 12th. According to him, students must have done enough preparation and taking coaching is not at all compulsory if you have studied well.

Tushar felt that Physics was highly tough, Chemistry was moderate and Mathematics was easy. Physics include the question from Unit 1 and 2. Chemistry questions were based on Chemical Equations. The exam contained maximum questions from the class 11th syllabus. He told that he attempted 100 questions and expects to score near around 100. He said if he does not qualify the exam then he will do B.Sc. He also told that there were no technical issues and the exam went smooth. He was asked about which mode was better offline or online and in reply, he said Online test as it is easy to take exam in online mode.

JEE Main 7th April 2019 Student Reaction (Shift 1) by Aglasem


Yash – He felt that Mathematics section was difficult but he was sure that he will clear the exam.

Nandini – She personally felt that the exam was easy but she found Mathematics section a bit hard. In the Drawing section, there was a question in which a flower was given and candidates have to copy it and make the same picture, then there was a question in which students have to make an aesthetic image using the cubes and the last question was to design a square table cloth. The mathematics sections were mostly from the class 11th syllabus which was hard to tackle and the class 12th syllabus questions were easy to solve.

Ashima – According to her the mathematics section was difficult than the other two sections. In Aptitude section, the questions were asked from general GK and 3D questions. The questions that were asked from Mathematics were mostly from the conic section, imaginary routes, arithmetic progressions, and there was 1 question based on matrices. Overall the question paper has questions from class 11th syllabus in comparison to class 12th syllabus.

Aditi – Her exam was good enough. She said that the exam was comparatively easy than the January session. She personally found  Mathematics was difficult.

Manish – The exam was good and according to his preparation, he performed well. From the Aptitude, one question was asked about where is the leaning tower. In the Mathematics section, there were tricky questions from probability and 3D.

JEE Main 7th April 2019 Student Reaction (Shift 2) by Aglasem

Parents Reactions and Expectations

Hari Mohan Aggarwal father of Neha Aggarwal – According to him, her daughter consumed more time in the Drawing section when appeared for the January exam. Now he shared that he strategized her daughter to first attempt questions from Aptitude or Mathematics Sections and then go for the Drawing section. She prepared herself for the exam by taking coaching classes and studied late at nights. In the January examination, she obtained 81% and now after this exam, she will be preparing and appearing for B.Tech exam and NATA.

Vandana mother of Kriti Sharma – She told that her daughter was clear to do Architecture from class 10th. She studied for herself for 8 to 9 hours. Vandana expects that her daughter will perform well in the exam as her daughter has admission in dream college SPA. She also told that her daughter is preparing for NATA too. In January examination Kriti scored 94.36%.

Student’s Reactions

Anvesha  – Her exam was good and was even better than the January attempt. Form GK, there was questions like who were the two architects who designed the city of Chandigarh and the other one was who designed the Madhya Pradesh Assembly Hall.

Vishesh Kumar – He says that his exam was good. The Mathematics section was difficult and had questions from conic, probability and integration. The question asked from probability was there were 2 factories. One factory had 60% production out of 2% production was defective and the second factory has 40% production out of which 1% was defective. Calculate the total production. From the Drawing Section, there were 3 questions.  The first one was to make a photo frame from the given cube and cylinder and make an aesthetic composition and the second one was to copy an image of a dancing girl. The last question had 3 options and they were: (1) To make a Restaurant (2) Make a Bed cover for a girl and the last option was (3) To make a portrait of the famous leader. He is also preparing for B.Tech exam and UPSEE Dehradun. He expects to clear the exam. According to him, there was one repeated question from the January examination. Although the values were different in fact the pattern was the same.

Malvika – She personally felt the Mathematics section was difficult. It was her first attempt. She expects that she will score pretty well. Other than this, she is preparing for Hotel Management too.

Shaurya – He told that he found Mathematics difficult. There were questions from Differential and Trigonometry. He was asked about his preference regarding Online Test or Offline Test and he told that he would prefer Online test

Aanchal – According to her Mathematics was tough and Art and GK were fine. More weightage was of class 11th Syllabus than the class 12th syllabus. She is also preparing for NATA. She would prefer an offline test as it would be easy to solve Aptitude and Drawing questions in offline mode. She also told that there were no questions repeated from the January examination. Although the exam pattern was similar for Aptitude but not for Art and GK.

Anushka – Her performance in the exam was OK. She said the Art section was absurd and wasn’t technical. She personally felt the Drawing section was tough. She is further preparing for NATA and prefers Offline test.

JEE Main 12th January 2019 Student Reaction Live Updates (Shift 2) by Aglasem

Krishant says that his examination was simple. He felt that the examination was simpler than previous year. He personally felt that Physics section could be a bit lengthy for other candidates too; however, he felt that Mathematics section was the harder for him.

Akshat says that his examination went fine. He felt Physics section to be harder.

Kriyansh says that the his exam went fine. He personally felt Physics section to be more difficult. In physics, he felt that questions from friction, rotational motion, were mechanics harder.

Aniket says that his examination was okay. He felt that Physics section was more difficult for him.

Rishabh says that his exam was good. He says that Chemistry section was easy and Physics and Mathematics section was lengthy. Physics section had topics from all the topics except communication. Other than that, Mechanics had 2 questions, optics had 1 question, and Rotational motion was easy. More topics were from 12th standard. There were around 6-7 questions from organic chemistry; inorganic chemistry was more difficult. Questions from Functions part in mathematics was difficult.

Ayushi says that her examination went well as per her preparation. She was very relieved to have the examination ended. She felt Chemistry section to be a bit harder because of Inorganic chemistry. Other than that, Physics and Mathematics section was relatively easier. She said that there were 2 questions from Mechanics and there were questions from Modern Physics. In mathematics, questions from coordinate, algebra, Integration, and find the locus.

JEE Main 12th January 2019 Student Reaction Live Updates (Shift 1) by Aglasem

The JEE Main first shift for 12th January 2019 is happening at the moment and will be expected to successfully be concluded at 12:30 PM. Lets hear from the candidates regarding their JEE Main Examination.

Parents are waiting for their kids to finish their JEE Mains exam and exit the venue.

Candidates now are making their way outside. Lets see what they said.

Ashwin says that his examination was good. He felt Chemistry section to be difficult, Mathematics moderate, and Physics section to be normal. He felt Physics section was doable within first 15 questions and rest somewhat harder. Optics topic was easy but Mechanics were a bit difficult. His time was wasted in the beginning of the test due to wrong password entry.

Jitender  says that his exam went fine. He felt that questions were not difficult as such; however, solving them was time consuming. Physics, in particular, was lengthier.

Saksham says that his exam was good. He found Mathematics section to be easy but Physics section was relatively difficult. Chemistry was decent. Saksham felt that the arrangements were not that good. No water bottle was allowed inside and candidates had to walk a bit far to get some water which was a wastage of time. He felt that in online mode, one can only view a single question at a time which he felt was a bit inconvenient.

Yash says that his exam was fine and the arrangements were good. Candidates had their privacy in tact. There were no issues as such to mention.

Sachin says that the Physics section was harder and Mathematics was relatively easier. Chemistry was also easy. In Physics, questions from electrostatics, mechanics, current, and so on were asked; Optics had 2 questions.

Apoorva says that her exam went well. She felt that Mathematics section was comparatively difficult but Physics and Chemistry section was easier. In Mathematics, questions from Maxima and Minima and Integration were difficult. She didn’t face any issues as such during her examination. She advises to solve Answer Key by Resonance released during past days.

Piyush and Sahil says that their exam was moderate. They did face some problem in their system as the cursor response was poor and slow. Piyush felt that Physics section was difficult but Sahil felt that no section was that hard.

Naman says that his examination was good. He felt Chemistry section to be more difficult than others. In Chemistry section, questions from Environmental, Inorganic, Organic, Physical, and so on were asked.

Abhisekh, Atishay, and Aditya says that their examination went moderate. Atishay felt that the Chemistry and Maths section was easy but Physics section was difficult. He felt Optics part to be trouble-some. Other than that, questions from ray and wave optics were asked. Aditya says that the Chemistry section was easy; there were questions from Organic, Inorganic, bio-molecules, d block, and so on. They are advising to manage time prudently.

The JEE Main 11th January 2019 second session started at 02:30 PM and got over as per the schedule on 05:30 PM. Candidates were making their way outside their respective venues. Lets have a look at some of the reactions that students expressed after the JEE Main Day 4 second shift Examination.

Parents are waiting for their kids who are at the moment giving their examination. They are good expectations from their children. Lets see what the candidates themselves have to say. They are now making their way out.

Jatin says that his paper was really tough. He found Physics section particularly uncomfortable. The mathematics section was moderately difficult. Physics and Mathematics sections had questions from 12th standard mostly. He didn’t feel any trouble with the arrangements inside the examination hall.

Piyush says that questions were harder from easy topics such as determinants; Physics section and Chemistry section was easy for Piyush. Integration’s question was tough in maths; mechanics topic had 4 questions in Physics; electrostats had 2 questions in Physics; and no questions from optics;

Yuvraj says that his examination went good; NTA exam was conceptually more sound that CBSE examination. Venue arrangements were good according to Yuvraj.

Mohinder says that his examination was too good. He feels that NTA exam was more difficult than the CBSE examination. He felt Physics section to be harder than the other sections. He feels that are the examination can be cracked if a candidate is thorough with his 11th and 12th standard topics.

Ankit says that his examination went fine. He feels that the arrangements inside the examination was good. He said that there were water arrangements which candidates were benefited.

Arun says that his examination was good. He feels that the difficulty level was moderate among Physics and Mathematics. The arrangements inside the examination venue was nice.

JEE Main11 January 2019 Student Reaction (Shift 1)

The JEE Main first shift for 11th January 2019 has successfully concluded at 12:30 PM. Lets hear from the candidates regarding their JEE Main Examination.

Parents are reacting on behalf of their children. They are saying that they have high expectations for their kids. Students have been preparing for their JEE Main by taking coaching and studying for hours each day. Some students have been taking coaching since 8th standard and dedicating 7-8 hours each day. Parents feel that their kids should study at any of the IITs.

Laxmi has commented on her exam and says that her examination was moderately difficult. She felt that Chemistry and Mathematics section was easy; however, she had trouble in time management. In physics section, questions appeared from SHM, Electrostat, circuit, Moment of Inertia, and other topics. In Mathematics, questions from coordinate section was more.

Meenakshi says that the overall exam was easy and Physics section was particularly tough as usual. In Mathematics, some question were tough including integrals, differential equations, and so on. She felt that CBSE exam pattern was tougher than the NTA exam pattern. Overall Paper was lengthy and can’t be solved completed in time.

Ujjwal says that his examination wasn’t that good. He will reappear in the April session. In Physics section, 2 question were asked from Mechanics. Felt that the difficulty was similar to that of previous year.

Sarthak says that the Physics section was tougher than the rest. Physics section covered from Mechanics, Projectile motion and Trajectory, and so on. Mathematics section had questions from statistics, trigonometry, and so on.

Dhanesh says that his exam was fine and Chemistry part was easy as usual. Chemistry section covered all topics from syllabus. Inorganic had 3 questions. Mathematics was lengthy for Dhanesh. Questions were simple but time consuming.

Sarthak says that his exam was good but felt that Physics section was comparatively difficult. There were 2 questions from optics, and lots of questions were based on Newton’s Law. Mostly 12th class syllabus was asked in the examination. Organic was covered in Chemistry along with inorganic chemistry, physical chemistry and so on. Mathematics section was moderate according to Sarthak. Maths had more questions from Trigonometry.

Arun commented on his attempt and says that his exam was fine but felt that Mathematics section was difficult. Conic section was the hardest for him in Mathematics section. In Physics, questions from modern physics were more.

JEE main 10 January 2019 Student Reactions (Shift 2)

The JEE Main 10th January 2019 second session got over as per the schedule on 05:30 PM. Candidates were making their way outside their respective venues. Lets have a look at some of the reactions that students expressed after the JEE Main Day 2 second shift Examination.

Ankit 
says that his exam went good enough. He found Physics paper to be the hardest among others. Electrostatics in Physics was particularly difficult according to Ankit. Questions were distributed evenly in the mathematics sections. Chemistry was easy for Ankit.

Komal says that she was happy with her examination. NTA JEE Main was relatively harder than CBSE JEE Main.

Manpreet responded on her attempt and says that her examination wasn’t bad. She felt that Chemistry section was difficult and Mathematics to be easier than expectation. Also, Physics was more or less the same. She remembered a question from Physics which goes like “there is a rod and two balls of mass m and radius r , attached with a wire of length 2r find Moment of Inertia”. In Mathematics, she found differential equation to be difficult. A question she remembered from Maths section and it goes like “line and a plane find point of intersection between the 4 planes”.

Japreet responded for his exam attempt and said that his examination was okay. He felt Physics section to be the hardest among others. Maths section had questions from Integration. Chemistry was moderate in difficulty and had questions from Organic Chemistry.

Yuvraj said that his screen was shut down several times during his JEE Main attempt. He had to chance his system 3 times which wasted lots of his time. Although the time was compensated he still felt the tension and anxiety that held back his exam attempt. His examination was okayish. Yuvraj says that Mathematics was the toughest among the other sections. Yuvraj’s mother was just not happy with the situation.

Esha said that her exam wasn’t bad. She feels that the Physics and Chemistry section was doable but Mathematics section was lengthy. She advises that if a candidate does enough to remember things and do NCERT then he/she can do pretty well in the JEE Main examination.

Naveen says that his examination was easier than expected. However, he found Chemistry section to be the hardest among the sections. Naveen felt that this year exam was easier than previous year.

Shefali said that her examination was good.

Aman and Raghav said that their examination wasn’t that difficult. However, the Mathematics section was harder than expected. Physics and Chemistry was normal. Their experience with the computer based test was good since they been practicing online examination and mock tests.

JEE main 10 January 2019 Student Reactions (Shift 1)

The JEE Main first shift for 10th January 2019 has successfully concluded at 12:30 PM. Lets hear from the candidates regarding their JEE Main Examination.

Parents are nervous and confident at the same time. Students are heading out right now.

Pavani says that exam was moderate, in neither easy nor tough; says that NTA has prepared a decent question paper. She found Physics particularly tough for personal reasons. Electricity related topics were hard for Pavani. In Maths section, questions from conic section were mostly asked. Question were asked from NCERT only.

Chirag says that his examination was good. He felt that this years question paper was relatively tougher than previous year. He found Mathematics section to be tougher, and Chemistry section was easier. In Mathematics, questions from Integration and its applications were mostly asked. In Physics, 3-4 questions from optics, wave optics, and ray optics each were asked.

Vidushi says that Mathematics and Physics sections were lengthier this time. Physics section was asked from 12th standard syllabus mostly including questions from Electrostats and magnetism. In Mathematics, questions were asked from Conics section, Vectors and 3D geometry.

Gautum says that his exam was good enough and suggests that prepared candidates would find the exam easy. Magnetism part was asked mostly in Physics section. Mathematics was toughest section for Gautum. Chemistry was easier as usual.

Ashish says that his examination was quite good. However, he felt Physics section particularly tougher than others. Mathematics was moderate and Chemistry was easy. In Mathematics, graph part comprised of 3-4 questions. Questions were equally distributed according to Ashish.

Vishesh says that his examination was good. He felt that the difficulty level was more in this year than previous year exams. Mathematics section was more focused on 3D and Vectors. Chemistry was easy and Physics section had questions from Magnetism and Current.

Neonika says that her examination was good. She felt that overall exam was moderately difficult. She found Physics section to be tougher than others. She says that questions were mostly from 11th standard and out of syllabus. Moreover, the questions were tricky. Chemistry section was equibalanced from all topics. Mathematics had more topics from Vectors and 3D.

Mahesh and Parishree says that the exam was easy but a little lengthy. Both felt that Physics section was the tougher. In Physics, questions from Electricity and Magnetism was more concentrated. Chemistry had lesser questions from Inorganic and Mathematics was more or less equibalanced according to them.

JEE Main 9 January 2019 Student Reactions (Shift 2)

The JEE Main 9th January 2019 second session got over as per the schedule on 05:30 PM. Candidates were making their way outside their respective venues. Lets have a look at some of the reactions that students expressed after the JEE Main Day 2 second shift Examination.

As per the latest updates, candidates had more or less similar reactions with that of the first session. The Mathematics section was relatively tougher than Physics and Chemistry section. Chemistry section was easy and scoring as per many students, and Physics was moderate in difficulty.

A Parent made a comment on behalf on his son and said spoke about his son’s preparation strategy. His son didn’t take any coaching and prepared mostly on his own. Would spend around 10 to 11 hours per day for his preparation. Father feels confident that his son would clear.

Pal gave a statement on his attempt and says that he found Physics section to be relatively harder than the rest. Mathematics was moderate and Chemistry was easy. Only 1 question was asked from Wave Optics and only few questions were asked from Thermodynamics. Chemistry section had 1 or 2 questions from every topics. Mathematics section comprised of Conics, straight lines, statistics, probability, limits and derivatives, and so on.

Deepanshu also claims the Physics section to be the toughest. Mathematics section was relatively easier compared to the previous examination. Chemistry was easy. Deepanshu feels that the exam can be cracked if candidate comes prepared. Functions part was toughest for Deepanshu in the Mathematics section. Mechanics part was toughest in the Physics Section.

Abhimanyu says that his overall exam was okayish. Chemstry was easy; Physics was a bit harder; Mathematics was moderate and had lots of questions from Integrations and Calculus.

Sathvik said his paper was okay-okay. He too found Physics section to be relatively difficult. He found Mathematics section to be easier and claims to have questions from sequences and series and probability; Inverse Trigonometry was hard for Sathvik. The difficulty level was similar to that of last year examination.

JEE Main Paper 1 Student Reactions 9 January 2019 (Shift 1)

Candidates from all across the nation has started has began their days early. JEE Main day 2 will consist of Paper 1 which will be the threshold for various courses B Tech courses. As per latest update, the examination has already began from 09:30 AM. Students have entered inside their examination venues. However, there are certain number of late comers due to whatever reasons and they were not allowed to enter inside the venues.

A Parent has commented on behalf of his son who is at the moment finishing up his examination. He says that his son has taken coaching from Narayana Institute and from some private tutor as well. Other than that, self preparation was also a part of daily routine and that too till midnight.

Another parent has commented on behalf on his son and says that this is his first attempt and has taken coaching from a nearby institution.

Jatin has commented on his JEE Main Paper 1 attempt and says that this was his first attempt. He doesn’t feel very confident regarding his attempt. Mathematics section was toughest of all. Physics and Chemistry section was relatively moderate in difficulty. Questions from Limits and Derivatives were challenging he said.

Rahul has commented on his attempt and says that his paper was overall good. He feels that Chemistry section was tougher than other ones.

Ashwin says that this was his second attempt and overall difficulty was moderate. He felt that Mathematics section was particularly tougher. In this case, he was underprepared in his 11th standard Mathematics. Questions were equally distributed from 11th and 12th standard. Chemistry section was easiest of all.

Aayush says that his exam attempt easier that expected. He too feels that Mathematics was the hardest section of all. He also says that Physics and Chemistry was easy and the overall paper was lengthy. Also, Aayush has revealed that student biometrics were taken before system login.

Arun says that his exam was easy and feels that Mathematics was difficult of all. Chemistry was easiest and Physics was moderately difficult. 11th class syllabus was harder than 12th class syllabus according to Arun. He will be appearing again for the April session examination.

Also, there is a strict order that candidates are not allowed to carry any bags, belts, mobile phones, calculators, food items, and so with them inside the examination venue. Candidates are required to keep these items them outside the examination venue.

JEE Main Student Reaction

JEE Main 2019 Paper 2 Second Shift Student Reactions

Abhishek says that the overall paper was easy. However, the Mathematics section was bit lengthy and that made it difficult somewhat.

Sahil says that the paper was somewhat moderate and mathematics was a bit harder than moderate. However, Sahil feels that he found Aptitude Test Part the most easier.

Prashant says that the paper was overall good but lengthy and time-consuming.

Naresh says that paper was easier than expected but feels that mathematics was lengthier and its hard to attempt all the questions. Naresh found Aptitude Test the most easier of all Drawing section went a bit bad for Naresh.

No candidate faced issues such as server problems or any other technical glitches.

JEE Main First Shift Exam Reactions

Shreyas says that his exam was okayish; he made lesser attempts than expected; Shreyas rates his JEE Main attempt as difficult; he particularly found Mathematics section more difficult. He rated his paper to be 4 out of 5 in terms of difficulty; Upon being asked to his father he wishes his son to crack NDA.

Aaryan Khan made around 26 attempts out of 82 questions; he found Aptitude easier and his exact words were “Easiest Paper bro Aptitude and Mathematics were Not hard at all”. Questions weren’t repeated according to him.

Aamij says Mathematics was difficult with more question from. Moreover, he said the exam difficulty was similar to that of the JEE Mains 2018 examination.

Arun and Shailaja says that the examination difficulty was moderate and mentions that Maths had questions from topics such as figures, relations and functions, and so on. Arun feels that questions from 11th standard was more-like 60% and 12th standard portion was 40%.
Shailaja made an extra comment regarding the procedures inside the examination hall. She advised to carry original photo ID proofs as photocopies weren’t being accepted. And Admit Card should be in A4 size sheet and must be a colored copy. 

Garima made a comment on not providing proper hospitality as there was no provision of drinking water during the examination.

Sourabh was attempting Paper 2 and this was his first attempt as he is still pursuing his 12th standard currently. He feels that Mathematics was relatively harder and mostly from the 11th standard. Sourabh is expecting a score of around 150.

Parul says that she was here for a mere attempt as she was not prepared much. However, she did take some classes and wants to reappear in the April session examination.

Manish said that this was his second attempt and feels that the there wasn’t much difference from his last attempt. He says that 11th standard mathematics was more than 12th standard and advises preparing candidates to focus more on the conceptual topics more.

Samiyak commented on his JEE Main attempt; he said that paper was somewhere between moderate to difficult. Chemisty and Physics went better than expected for Samiyak; however, Mathematics was sort of tricky. He too felt that 11th standard mathematics was more visible than 12th standard.

So here’s what happening

07:00 AM – Candidates have started to gather around. Some are accompanied by their parents, and some students are here by themselves. Some feel like last minute preparation is what they need and are focused on. Shreya says she’s extremely nervous yet confident somehow.

07:30 AM – Okay so the exam venue authorities have opened the gates. Students are now all set to enter inside the examination venue. Announcements are taking place. Candidates who have brought bags and other belongings are being kept at the entrance since those items are not allowed inside. Some students are frustrated as they do not want their belongings to be kept unsafe. Some students have left their bags and phones with their parents.

08:30 AM – Last minute for entry. The authorities have announced that the gates will be closed whether anyone is remaining or not. Candidates are hurrying their way in.

08:40 AM – The gates are closed now. No candidates are being allowed to enter inside anymore.

09:00 AM – Authorities are frisking the candidates and checking their Admit Card and Identity proof. They are only letting candidates in after thorough checking for any possession of illegal material like piece of papers, notes, bags, mobile phones, belts, and so on.

09:30 AM – The examination has been started, and candidates who made it on time had their admit cards checked. The examination will proceed for another 3 hours.

12:30 AM – The first shift of JEE Main Day 1 has been concluded. Students are now carefully returning to collect their belongings and ready to leave.

Instructions

Candidates were advised to visit the examination venue well in advance so as to become acquainted with the location and route. This will help candidates to not get caught up in the hassle of finding the exam center on the day of the JEE Main Examination. Candidates are required to reach the venue of the Test at the Reporting Time mentioned in the Admit Card. And if by chance, any candidate reports beyond the Gate Closing time of Center, they will not be allowed to enter the Test venue. Instructions have been issued for strict compliance.
