The International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad (IIIT Hyderabad) is a research institute based in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. It’s a first private autonomous institute to be established in 1998. Institute runs Computer Science and other courses in addition to various research projects. IIIT Hyderabad 2018 JEE Main Round 4 (Final Round) Result:
IIIT has released the JEE Main Result for Round 4 (Final Round). Candidates are required to provide their User ID and Password for accessing the Result. Click here for the Result Link.
The Result of IIIT Hyderabad 2018 B.Tech admission is prepared on the basis of scores secured by students through various channels. Candidates who find their names in IIIT Hyderabad merit list are eligible for the counselling process. The counselling of IIIT Hyderabad B.tech Admission 2018 is expected to be held in the month of June 2018. Only those candidates who will complete the application process will feature in IIIT Hyderabad B.tech list. To check the merit list, go to the ‘Admissions 2018’ link and click on it. IIIT Hyderabad 2018 UGEE Admit Card
The entrance exam for admission through UGEE mode was conducted on 18th April 2018. Admit card was a mandatory document to be carried on the day of the exam along with an original photo ID. Candidates had to go through the instructions mentioned on the Admit card in detail as it was also carrying all the required information like date of the exam, the course for which candidate is appearing for in the exam, address of the examination centre and other relevant details.
IIIT Hyderabad Application Form 2018
The dates for the online availability of IIIT Hyderabad B.tech 2018 application form will be different for all channels. Application form for JEE MAIN 2018 was available from 07th April 2018 until 31st May 2018. The application form for UGEE was released on the official website of IIIT Hyderabad. The admission portal for UGEE was opened from 5th February 2018 to 28th March 2018. Institute had announced the date for admission through DASA which began from March 2nd, 2018 and was till April 25th, 2018. The given steps were to be followed for the submission of the Application form 2018.
Registration: The candidates were required to register themselves for the process of IIIT Hyderabad B.Tech Admission 2018. Candidates were to submit their name, valid email ID and mobile number for the registration. A verification link will be sent to the candidate on their registered email ID. Candidates have to click on the link to complete the application process. The aspirants can find the application link for IIIT Hyderabad UGEE 2018 below:
Filling the Application form: The information asked in this section will be depending on the mode of admission as selected by the candidate. However, the candidate should make sure of providing valid information and corresponding to the documents possessed by the candidate.
Payment of Application Fee: The payment has to be done through online mode. Candidates can opt for Debit Card/Credit Card/Net banking. The application fee for B.Tech admissions is given below:

Submission of the Application Form: Submission of the Application form was to be accepted only after the payment of the Application fee. Payment of the Application fee of Rs.6000 has to be done online while submitting the online Application Form. The absence of fee payment in any case by the student would have lead to the rejection of the application form.
IIIT Hyderabad B.Tech Eligibility Conditions
The eligibility conditions for admission to IIIT Hyderabad B.Tech program differs on the basis of entrance channel through which the candidate was applying. Candidates were required to go through the eligibility conditions thoroughly as any form of misleading information would have lead to the cancellation of the admission. The candidates were to fulfil the eligibility requirements through JEE MAIN, Olympiad, UGEE- CLD/NK/MTSE and DASA. The conditions of applying under various channels are given below in the table:

Admission through DASA channel will be through the SAT 2 scores. The main SAT scores are use to break ties. Anyone who has not taken SAT but has valid SAT 2 score will be eligible to apply for admission. In case of Tie-breaking, such candidates SAT score will be considered missing or equivalent to zero.

-SPEC MODE: A Special Channel of Admission (SCA) has been introduced from this academic year for single degree B.Tech. (ECE/CSE) Programs. This aims at identifying students with extraordinary talent. The last date for the submission of Application Form for applying through SPEC mode was 26th March 2018.

Selection Criteria for SPEC-
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for the Written test.
- Shortlisted candidates based on the performance in the written test will be called for interview.
- The final selection is based on the overall performance of the candidate.
-JEE (MAIN) MODE: JEE MAIN score will be limited to the admission to single degree programs only for B.Tech. in Electronic and communicating Engineering (ECE) and B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE).
-DASA MODE: Admissions through Direct Admission for Students Abroad will continue as announced by the University.
-UGEE MODE: Admissions through UGEE mode will be to all research-based dual degree program. Admission will be based on an entrance examination followed by an interview.
Applicants who represented India at one of the four Olympiads (Internation Olympiad on Informatics (IOI)/Science Olympiad (Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Astronomy)/Mathematics Olympiad/International Linguistics Olympiad (IOL)/Paninian Linguistics Olympiad (POL) can apply for UGEE and will be called directly for an Interview. They do not have to write the UGEE Entrance examination.
IIIT Hyderabad made an official announcement of admission under Direct Admissions for Students Abroad (DASA) mode for undergraduate students for the academic year 2018-2019 on its official website. The start of the online application form was from March 2nd, 2018 and the last date for the registration was April 25th, 2018.
Application Form of DASA
IIIT Hyderabad announced the start of the application form for B.Tech admissions through DASA (Direct Admission for Students Abroad). The online application form was available on the official website www.iiit.ac.in. Applications were to be accepted from March 2nd, 2018 to April 25th, 2018. All the online applications had to be submitted within 5 PM IST. The submission of application after that was not to be accepted.
Entrance Exam Pattern for UGEE
The exam pattern for UGEE is given in the following points. Candidates are advised to be updated if University offers the exam pattern for UGEE 2018. Below mentioned points will help in the understanding of the pattern.
The exam will have three parts: Part 1 (Math and Logical reasoning), Part 2 (Aptitude) and Part 3 (Essays).
- Questions in part 1 can be objective as well as subjective
- Questions in part 2 include questions on aptitude for analyzing language data.
- In part 3, you would be asked to write essays on any given topic. This part will be evaluated only if you score above 50% in part 1 and above 55% in Part 2.

IIIT Hyderabad 2018 Cut-off
The cut-off of IIIT Hyderabad B.tech admissions includes total marks and subject wise marks secured by the candidate in JEE MAIN 2018. The cut off of IIIT Hyderabad will be the cut off of different rounds of JEE MAIN 2018. Candidates who secured equal or more marks to the minimum score of cut off of IIIT Hyderabad will be offered the seat for admission in B.Tech course. Only such candidates will be eligible for the counselling and seat allotment procedure.
