Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya commonly known as ‘DAVV’ was established in 1964. It was earlier known as the University of Indore and located in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India. It is accredited by NAAC with ‘A’ grade. It has 27 teaching departments and offers Undergraduate, Post-Graduate & Research Programmes in 16 Faculties.

DAVV Counselling

The information related to counselling has been released on the website of the university after the declaration of the result. The candidates will be called for counselling as per the merit list. Following documents are required at the time of counselling.

  • Admit Card of DAVV CET 2018.
  • The result of DAVV CET 2018.
  • 3 recent photograph
  • Original and 1 self-attested photocopy of Aadhar card.
  • Original and 1 self-attested photocopy of mark sheet of the qualifying exam.
  • Original and 1 self-attested photocopy of age proof.

DAVV CET 2018 Application Form

The application form for DAVV CET 2018 was available on the university website. The candidates seeking admission first needed to check their eligibility criteria very carefully. The last date for online submission of the application form was 10th May 2018. Candidates were to fill the application form before the prescribed last date.

Procedure to fill the Application Form

The candidates may follow the steps to fill the Application form of DAVV CET 2018:

  • Visit the website of the university-https://davv.mponline.gov.in/
  • Go to the ‘Admission’ section.
  • Find the link of ‘CET 2018’
  • Open the Application Form of DAVV CET 2018.
  • Fill your name in CAPITAL LETTERS as it appears in your 10th class marksheet. Leave one blank box between adjacent words. Do not use any prefixes like Mr., Mrs., Miss/Ms. etc.
  • Fill your Parent/Guardian name in CAPITAL LETTERS as it appears in your 10th class marksheet. Leave one blank box between adjacent words. Do not use any prefixes like Mr., Mrs., Miss/Ms. etc.
  • Enter your Date of Birth as recorded in 10th class marksheet in DD/MM/YY format only. When the number or date or month is a single digit, zero should be prefixed.
  • Upload your photograph with signature.
  • Tick appropriate box in Gender case.
  • Candidate belongs to (OBC/SC/ST/PwD) category shall tick the appropriate box. The candidates will not be allowed to change the category at any stage.
  • Select the choice of the group as per your eligibility. A candidate can choose more than one group within UG and PG programmes if he/she fulfill the eligibility criteria.
  • Provide valid contact number and e-mail id for future communication.
Note: The Online application fee for DAVV CET 2018 shall be Rs. 1500/- + Rs. 50/- (Online Service Charges). The candidates can pay the fee online through MPOnline authorized KIOSK in MP or pay by any ATM cum Debit Card/Credit Card or Net Banking from anywhere. If your amount is deducted & receipt has not generated, pay another fee, previous amount will be reverted automatically to your account.

DAVV CET 2018 Admit Card

The admit card of DAVV CET 2018 was available on the website of the university from 18th May 2018 to 22nd May 2018. The candidates who successfully submitted their application form will be able to download their admit card. The admit card was an important document to appear in the entrance exam. The candidates had to present their admit card at the time of examination. No candidate was allowed to sit for the examination without valid admit card.

Procedure to download DAVV CET Admit Card

The candidates may follow the steps to download the DAVV CET 2018 admit card.

  • The candidates have to visit the website of the University.
  • Go to the “Download Admit Card” section.
  • Fill the Application number and Security Pin.
  • Admit card will appear on the screen in PDF format.
  • The admit card will have Name of the Applicant, Roll number of the candidate, Name of the course, Date and time of the exam, Venue of the Test Centre.
  • Take print out of it and preserve it till the admission procedure complete successfully.
  • Candidates are requested to bring at least one identity proof like Voter I Card/ Aadhaar/ Driving License/ any other recognized identity proof.

Result of DAVV CET 2018

The result of the DAVV CET 2018 was published on the website of the university www.dauniv.ac.in. The candidates who appeared in the entrance exam will be able to check his/her result by visiting the website of the university. From the result, candidates were to get to know about marks and rank secured by them in the entrance exam. The university published Merit list of the candidates on the website. The candidates were to get the call for counselling/admission as per rank obtained by them in the entrance exam.

If any two or more than two candidates get the same rank, then –

  1. A candidate with the higher percentage in the qualifying exam was to be considered.
  2. If the result of the qualifying exam is awaited, then seniority in age will be considered.
